I'm sticking all my old vids on a couple of Terabyte portable harddrives, and I came across a gem that I hadn't seen in ages:

    Hopkins-Lipsey

Jeez this was brutal. Hops was fighting the undefeated Lipsey, who was 25 and 0 with 20kos. Hops crushed him in the fourth with a left hook/right uppercut that stands Lipsey straight up, motionless, and helpless. Hops then nails him with a brutal right hand that starts to send him down, and then nails him with two left hooks and a SCREAMING right hand that sent Lipsey to the canvas for a two point landing: his right shoulder and his head.

    Lipsey never fought again.

This isn't one I'd forgotten about, but hadn't seen in years and was inspired by the thread to check it out on youtube:

    Tua-Izonritei

Tua nearly decapitated Izonritei like he did Ruiz, only he managed to do it in the last round and instead of the first.

Brutal KO...though Bennett's glass chin does diminish it a bit.

Lipsey was a good fighter. Nice puncher, short shots and had a decent motor. But the writing was on the wall for him already. I'm guessing his camp saw the same things I did and figured that the chance at a world title right now, is better than not getting one at all down the line.

It didn't go well at all. A shame, because Lipsey had a lot to offer the fans at home. He was a made for TV guy.

Can anyone find the the Derrick Jefferson/Maurice Harris fight. That KO was brutal. Also the Samuel Peters vs Jeremy Williams.

To me it appears that fighters that fight in conventional style it appears that their best KO punch is the left hook. I wonder if their were ever statistics taken as to which punch produced the most ko's it would be the left hook. I'll Holla 5000
