I say Jackson in 2, after pretty much dominating Forest.

Why doesn't anyone care about this fight? Is it really that big of a mismatch?

    That's what I was thinking.

I mean, I am picking Jackson to win, but let's not forget Forest DID beat Shogun, who beat the absolute shit out of jackson.

So it's not a complete mismatch, Forest has a chance, I just think Jackson is that little bit better at everything, and I don't think Forest's chin holds up.

I am surprised there isn't already a thread about this, and I am surprised you're the only person to reply to this one

Other than watching by boy GSP, I haven't looked forward to an MMA fight this much in a while. Even if Forrest gets his ass kicked he ALWAYS comes to fight.

And I thought he looked awesome against Shogun... I thought it was cool when he watched the clock and waited for the end to sink the choke in to finish him.

Either way, this fight should be fun no matter what happens.

I think Forest will take him the distance- Griffen is a solid fighter I dont think its a big mismatch at all.

Really looking forward to Rampage's interview after the fight - -that dude cracks me up.

Griffen's win over Shogun meant jack shit concerning this fight. Jackson won;t be coming into this fight in the type of condition that Shogun did.

I have no idea why cause it defies all logic, but I fancy Griffin to pull off the upset.

To be honest I wouldn't be that shocked if he did. Griffin is a big tough SOB.

I agree completely with Valdosta, Shogun was in terrible shape for the Griffen fight, props to Forrest for pulling the win but I am still not convinced about him, Rampage should dominate him IMO

Don't get me wrong, I agree with val too, and I too am picking jacko to pretty much dominate him. BUT I think if he was a complete bum even an out of shape Rua would have taken him out.

I dont think hes a bum, hes very tough and determined, but he s also very limited, I think he ll make a fight out of it but will get the worst of it by quite a margin

Well, Tyson hammers Marcus Aurelio, and Koscheck scalps Lytle. Now Stevenson is gonna fight Tibau.

close 5th round, close fight, the announcer seems to say that Rampage won the 1st, if he did, I think he should win

But the 2nd round could be 10-8 and the 5th could really go either way, Id probably gave it to Griffen

I thought forest won the 5th fairly clear. I think he won. I am surprised, Griffin did great, and I think Rampage underestimated him a bit.

Smart fight by Forrest. He invested in those leg kicks, and he won. He deserves a lot of respect for toughing it out against a good puncher. Leg kicks and angles won it for him.

    ......

I thought Jackson won rounds 1,3 and 4 pretty clean. At best Griffen deserved a draw.
