He said he wants Randy next. I think that Fedor will make quick work of Randy especially since Randy is getting up there in age.

Im thinking Fedor vs. Arlovski is the fight I want to see.

I thought Arlovski looked like the old Arlovski again. He back to his aggressive style and his striking looked better than ever. Even though Rothwell was an IFL fighter, I think it was a good challenge, and Andrei totally dismantled him.

    Thoughts?

That's a good fight on paper, marketable fight too. I think though that Arlovski vs Alexander Emelianenko would also be interesting. Both are very solid strikers. Fedor has some good options. Everybody wants to see him fight Couture. That would be a very big PPV. I think they should try their damndest to make that fight. It would really put Affliction on the map, to do what the UFC couldn't. Slap in the face to Dana White right there.

Fedor vs. Arlovski would be terrible. That would end quicker than the Sylvia fight.

He needs to fight randy next and from there, its time to start some cross-promotion and start getting these other fighters out there.

I don't give a fuck if Fedor fights Couture. How Couture became the best heavyweight in the world behind Fedor is beyond me. There are too many heavyweights that he hasn't fought, and roids or not, I don't think Couture can beat Barnett. Give me Fedor vs. Barnett...

I'm a fan of Couture, but he's terribly overated. Do you really give a guy who get decimated twice by Chuck Liddell at 205 any chance against Fedor?

Fedor would roll through Arlovski as well. In spite of what he did to my boy Rothwell, Arlovski is NOT an elite heavyweight.

As sad as it is, I think when Fedor loses, it's gonna be against one of his creampuff opponents that nobody gives a chance of winning to. At this point, nobody beats Fedor except Fedor, and the only way I see him losing is if he doesn't take a fight serious enough and gets caught.

Fedor not going to the UFC was the best thing that could happen for MMA.Without competion the UFC would get worse not better, think about it.If it wasnt' for affliction, there wouldn't be a UFN 14:dunno:

THe UFc will have to cave in and cross promote because all the big fights will most likely happen without the UFC.

I think Barnett is the tougher opponent than either Couture or Arlovski, but he pales comparison to the name recognition of either.

We'll see what Couture's legal battles produce, supposedly Affliction is eyeing November as the next date.

    Nobody is unbeatable.

I don't see any of the current heavyweights beating Fedor, but if he keeps fighting, he's eventually gonna lose.

    Maybe.

I suppose that's a possibility but Fedor seems to be just as ready for big fights as he is against "cream puffs". If he was fighting a hectic schedule, i think losing to a perceived no-hoper would be more likely. However he has a lot of time between fights to prepare.

It seems like you MMA guys get offended when boxing comparisons are drawn here but Coutoure is the man who beat the man in the UFC - Fedor has already twice beaten the other UFC heavyweight champ. coutoure has the best combination of legitimacy and name value/recognition of any heavyweight opponent right now for Fedor. if that fight can be made i think it has to be the next step for Fedor

Agreed.Fedor called out Randy for a reason, because a fight between them two means serious cheese. This is a fight that will put Affliction and Fedor on the map.

I'd like to hear what Dana would say after Fedor gets through with Couture.

I guess he'd instruct Rogan and the announcing crew to refer to Silva as super duper P4P.

Well, Dana must be sweating now. His heavyweight division is looking like shit compared to Afflictions. All he really has is Big Nog. Other than that, everyone has flown the coop and are moving on.

He also must be pissed off at Fedor and Tim's payouts. Tim 800k and Fedor 1.5 mil for just stepping in the ring! If these promotions can keep paying their fighters better than Dana, he'd better start stepping it up or other fighters are going to start to follow suit.

The UFC is a piece of sh*t anyway with the way it's run. Every fighter is speaking out now. Hell the UFC contracts are illegal. I hope the FBI gets involved and starts looking at the sh*t the UFC is pulling. How can they be both managers and promoters for their fighters? Sh*t doesn't even make sense. Matt Lindland and Couture are the most vocal about it right now.
