how were you scoring it?

I gave Cotto ALL of the first 6 rounds (granted round 2 was very close).....going into the 11th i had it, 6-3-1.....



.....Am i the only one who had Cotto in a decent lead?

 

Margarito won rounds 2 and from 6 on. 96-94 for Margarito.

I gave marg. the 10th for hurting Cotto, so 6-4 Cotto

 

I didn't score the bout while watching but I do remember giving Margarito the second and a bunch of rounds including and after the sixth.

yeah, perhap i need to rewatch that one.....although Margarito stepped up the pressure, in felt that Cotto was still landing the cleaner blows and wasting fewer punches.....

REED Gave Cotto 4 of the 1st 5 Rounds (1, 2, 4 & 5)...EXCLUDING Round 9, which REED Scored EVEN (Or Could've EASILY Given to Margarita), he Gave Margarita EVERY SINGLE Round from the 6th ONWARDS...

REED Scored Rounds 3, 6, 7, 8, & 10 for Margarita...OBVIOUSLY, Margarita WOULD have Gotten a 10-7 Round in the 11th (@ WORST) for the 2 Knockdowns...

Even PRIOR to Round 11, Margarita had MORE Rounds in the Bag, THEN he DROPPED Cotto Twice...

Short of a KO, there was Absolutely NOfuckingWAY Margarita Could've Lost...

Ugh. You sound like Jim Lampley. Cotto went back to the corner after the second with a bloody nose and a cut over his left eye. I think Margarito landed the cleaner punches that round.

Ridiculous. You should join HBO. Margarito was kicking the shit out of Cotto from the 2nd round on. All the rounds were close, but Tony was damaging Cotto and Cotto was running. Joto's clean shots did nothing and Tony's slaps were causing Joto to bleed out of every hole in his head. I laughed at the ridiculous HBO cheerleading. I knew the fight was over in round 2. I had Tony up by 1 round by round 10.

 

Adamiw is a brit if I remember correctly, he didn't have to hear the incredibly biased HBO bullshit.

Cotto wasn't running....until his legs tired, he was displaying excellent defensive movement....making Margarito miss.....as the rounds went on, Cotto tired, Margarito never let up and then took over after round 6



....If anyone from HBO is reading this, i can hand in my p45 tomorrow and be available for work in 2 weeks!

 

Honestly, I think all of the broadcasters except Manny should be suspended. It was absolutely unprofessional. Fucking Lampley cried when his fraud Boricua was taken to the morgue. Worst announcing jb in the history of the sport. Australians are better.

 

Going into the 11th, and I've only seen it once, I had it 5-4-1 in favor of Cotto

 

we had the top rank feed, which isn't great....i think they all had Margarito up going into the 11th

 

Sadly, and for once, we Brits had to put up with the US crew for this one. It was appalling... :shit:

Anyway, as I said in the RBR thread, I had Cotto winning rounds 1,3,4 and 5. Round ten might have been his until he got laced right at the end, at which point he probably forfeited the round. Margarito won the rest.
