This is a tough one IMO and probably depends on which Paul shows up. The one time volume puncher who put on a clinic against Margarito or the guy he's been every other fight, the powerless punching slugger. I think Clottey could beat either version but the volume punching guy may take a close decision if the judges think Clottey isn't letting his hands go enough. I think Clottey by SD.
Williams has always been known for his workrate, not sure what's meant by "powerless punching slugger." If anything, he's always lacked confidence in his punching power, which made his rematch KO of Quintana an anomally. Anyway, I'll take Tall Paul by convincing decision in this one, if even in amateurish fashion.
Williams easily. Clottey doesn't let his hands go enough to win a decision against Williams, and there's no way he knocks him out.
I stopped reading your post when you alleged that Williams put on a clinic against Margarito. He damn near lost that fight, and was holding on for dear life the final 3 rounds. I'd hardly call that a clinic.
Williams clearly beat Margarito. I don't know where you get this from as if it was some sort of controversial fight. Oh.., And he won the 12th round.
