Myself, I'm not able to run as much as I'd like due to my knee injury, but I still jog, walk, and hit the weights and other cardio machines. How about an update from those of you still exercising?

    going Great Buddy..

I can honestly say I'm in better shape than I've been in at least 5-6 years

been running daily, doing my chins and pushups and situps and supplementing with once-twice a week at the gym with weights..

been on holiday in London this week and it turned into a prodigious piss up, so off the wagon a bit. But overall things are progressing decently - My modest goal of a 350 dead by the end of summer is pretty much in the bag, so I'll probably try for 400 by the end of the year.:crafty: Just maintaining weight at about 175 and looking to get strong and wirey as a motherfucker. Long term goals (year long goals)- 180 milt press, 450 dead, 60 chin ups.

60 consecutive chinups in one set with no rest? That would be impressive indeed.

Myself, I'm shooting steady at the ropeclimbing. I still do 50 hspu every two days along with 50 chins every two days. Jogging on a daily basis, walking, and doing windsprints.

I've changed my weight-training drastically though. I've started doing supersets for everything, and I'm seeing really good results. I'll post my weights and sets when I have time, which will likely be tonight after work.

Way to go, Lok and Hutster!

    What happened, Tyler?

Myself, slow and steady goes the course because it's getting increasingly challenging to find time at home to get enough sleep and/or training time.

My shoulder was hurt as you know, taking it easy during that time ended up making me slack. Got back in the groove, hurt my back.....slacked again. Injuries fine now but was sick for the last month, back at it again now. A couple years ago when I was at peak form, got really sick and have been battling the same motivation I had ever since, once you go down that road of very hard work.....knowing what it took to get there can be a daunting task. Seems like every time I start to get going, something happens :dunno: If I was to be optimistic, at least I am not starting from the very scratch like I was in January after over a year layoff, I have been exercising here and there since January....just have not made any significant gains :crying: I really can't believe it is June already :eek:ld:

Well, today I hopped on the ol' treadmill and did three sub-10 min miles. I'm gonna get up to doing that for 60 minutes and then start increasing the speed.

Just for a little eyeopener, the 10km (6 miles) was run in just over 27 minutes at the Olympics.

I have really incorportated sprinting in my training..

in HS I had a 11sec 100m two days ago it was like 13sec..

I think I'll be able to tie if not beat my HS times in all runs.. and I'm 50-60lbs heavier now:lol:

Well, the advantage now is that you have all the experience and knowledge to know what to do and what NOT to do. I'm gonna try to break all my high school bests in different events. If I can manage that, I'll be golden! :bears:

I'm in good shape. Do my daily push ups and situps...hit teh weights three times a week and do skipping in between.

I can't run though because of bad knees and so tennis and sex are my cardio....

Wicked. It's no fun having an injury. Trust me, I know. Hopefully it's back to 100% soon. I just have to keep increasing my windsprints. The bodyfat has largely come off, but I'm just not losing weight. It's being replaced by muscle. Not much I can do about it, but the idea is just to stay healthy regardless. I got my heart checked and it's a-ok.:bears:

Checking your weight can be overrated when you are training, I had a sticking point too back when I was real serious about it, eventually it started moving again.

Put up the 580 on the bench and deadlifted 520. F*ck cardio! It's all about the bench. I bench and deadlift 7 days a week. DeadLift I do 3 times a week, Bench I do 6 times a week. Everything is good. Also have my supply of steroids to help me. I got a wicked steroid deal on this from some under the table place where my buddy Manvinder hooked me up. I got 12 months supply of steroids.

Doing something 1000 times in one sitting, sounds like a burnout to me. How do you do it?

I want roids bad. I am in ok shape right now. I feel ok right now. I think I am finally 100% back from my illness. My back is bad, but I feel good. I want to see what roids will do to my body. I love drugs. I want to try every drug at least once, but pills only.

I am doing 500 situps a day. It helps my back out alot. I can do 200 pushups a day. They are just boring. I would rather hit the heavy bag for 90 minutes then do that. Push ups bore me. I still want Roids. I don't have any problem doing some working out everyday. I excercise 5 or 6 times a week.

You poor bastards got no lives. Training....training... for what? You could train your ass off forever, you ain't gonna be no f*cking world class athlete or multi-millionaire superstar no matter how much training you do. So who gives a sh*t? We're all going to age and die anyway. What the f*ck do you wanna be doing 1000 push ups a day? To acheive what other than for the sake of stroking your ego? It's not like anybody else out there is gonna notice or give a crap if you do it or not.
I'd train my ass off everyday if I was a paid superstar athlete and my job required it. Like Ben Wallace or Shaq who train their butts off so they can go out there night after night and play to their potential.
What the f*ck is any average guy gonna be training their ass off for? So they can be the strongest assholes in their office place? "Oh I'm the strongest guy in IT in my company!!!" Big deal!
