This has nothing to do with Cooney, who I would have fucking hated if I was around at the time... but everything to do with me keeping you honest on your details. :warning:

 

Gerry Cooney was over-rated in 1982 leading up to the Holmes fight. He's taken nothing but shit since and perhaps became under-rated in the process.

Is this the backlash to the backlash REED? ::

First Cooney is over-rated...............then he gets brought back to earth.....................then the current Heavyweight crop begins to suck big time and a few rumblings start that maybe Cooney wasn't that bad after all.

6'6 and 225lbs. Huge indeed

 

Verry tall but not at all huge. And even though he was too tall for what he weighed.....he still never looked in that good of shape. He just had one of those bodys that looked like crap.
