I mean, we knew this way back when he had Roy taking 9 outta 12 rounds against Tarver in their first fight. Nothing new. I had to laugh when Kellerman started crying corruption, as if not recognizing that boxing judges are simply inept - almost as inept as announcers when it comes to scoring fights.
I clearly remember 8 rounds for RJJ. The part that went against Roy in that fight was that all the close rounds would go to Tarver because Roy had never been in a close fight since Griffin 1. All the "close" rounds are usually scored for the other guy when fighting Jones. That in itself is a testament to RJJ's skill.
:laughing: If all the close rounds had gone Tarver´s way he would have won the damn fight.
Joe I understand this is the fight where you finally met your hero, but you have it completely backwards. It was Tarver's whose winning rounds were far more defining (at least 4 of the 5 he won on my card, anyway). Roy's the one that got the benefit of the doubt in the close rounds on the official cards. There were two rounds I initially scored one way (the 1st for Tarver, the 12th for Roy) where watching on replay I thought could've went either way. Giving Roy both rounds gives him a 4 pt win; giving Tarver both makes the fight a draw as far as I saw.
