Casamayor will dictate the pace of the fight and land the more effective headbutts, but Marquez will land the cleaner and more effective combos and counters. Marquez by 116-112ish decision.

Tam - Marquez recovers QUICK and Casamayor isn't going to be taking him out with 1 punch.

Damn, you're usually big on Casa. You think Marquez will stop him?

    Yep.

Even if the fight ends with a knockout i don't expect any less controversy.

at least when Marquez has complained about a controversial loss he has case to argue.

CAsamayor actually claims to have won the Santa Cruz fight. :notallthere:

    Marquez by decision.

I expect it to be a tactical chess game until the later rounds...but not as boring as some night think.

Marquez historically doesn't match up that well with southpaws - especially defensive, counterpunching ones.

He also does eat left hands - though he's improved on that more and more; and Casa isn't as fast or explosive as Pacquiao (nor as aggressive).

BUT - I think Marquez will fight very intelligently here. He'll try to engage but won't be as reckless as he has been recently. He's going to have laser-like focus on using the right hand lead - and more importantly the right-hand pull and counter...and he's going to get it.

Casa is VERY vulnerable to a counter right hand when he jumps in behind his straight/looping left. I think he's going to try to hurt Marquez early...and he's going to pay for it.

I think the added weight will benefit Marquez as well in terms of strength.

Marquez will likely be stunned at some point...but I also expect Casamayor to be hurt, likely more than once. Watch for Casa to be hurt to the body too.

And he really won't stand and trade with JMM until the 11th or 12th, by then it will be too late.

    Peace.

Absurd. Have you taken up drinking?

Marquez ud and I hope Caspeor spends his saturday evening getting a "y" incision in the morgue.

    Forrest UD in a stinkfest.

Guzman wide ud campbell although I hope Cuzman also joins Casapeor in the morgue.

Bradley ud slightly stinky over The cherry bomb.

Amen. mY main prediction is that this ppv bombs miserably. Could you pick a less interesting main event and co-feature?

Marquez beats Casa to the punch all night and methodically wears him down to a very easy tko in the 12th.

Mora wins just like last time.

Meanwhile, most boxing fans are enjoying a pretty solid and free showtime telecast.

Well, the ppv began 11 minutes ago and no one is doing a RBR even though the competition fight fell apart with Guzman dropping out.

this ppv is going to b,b,b,b,bomb

Boy Garcia not only stinks, but he has no heart, getting beat up round after round by a 32 year old coming of a three year lay-off.

Forrest is taking Mora to school. I wonder what they paid him to tank the first one.

El, that's what I was thinking. I've been watching this thinking how the fuck did Mora beat Forrest the first time? He looks shit here.

Taking to school is not enough! I want someone to give a Mora a RJ-Hall type beatdown with the final end result being Mora going out Herol Graham style, then ending up like Micheal Watson.

Xplosive - Forrest has stunned Mora a number of times now, but Mora has recovered before he can follow it up.

I tell you what, Forrest looks sharp here for a 37 year old.
