    I haven't seen the fight.

What happened? Was it a legimitate loss? Did Marquez look shit, or was John much better than expected?

    .....

Marquez won the fight easily if it's held anywhere besides Indonesia. 10-2 or 9-3 I would say. It was boring as fuck, but JMM won clearly.

I have and don't listen to the Marquez Maricones, his legion of homosexual fans. It was legit. Marquez was gun shy for awhile after Pacman dominated him in the first fight. Obviously, he found another level. It was a shit fight and I deleted it. All I really remember is that I felt the decision was just.

I thought Marquez won it, but it did have a 'could be different at ringside' feel to it. Wasn't a horrible decision, I'd say. John looked like he could have done better so the outcome of a rematch isn't so easy to predict, regardless of where it occurs.

this fight was the reason he was known as blockhead. The mofo took far less coin to give up his title because he was unsure of himself for a re with Pac

He did not look good at all in this fight with John, it IS on youtube among other sites.

i had marquez winning 8 rounds, but some of them were close. he had like 2 point deductions from low blows (which weren't legitimate in my opinion), and i think i had that 114-112. so take away one around, it can easily be a draw.

john got every benefit of doubt.

I scored it exactly like you did. The difference is that I didn't actually watch the fight.

not sure how you can say that when so few had John winning the fight. The only two at the time were FightNews and ESPN/Dan Rafael - and Rafael put himself in the jackpot by admitting ONE MONTH LATER that he watched the fight in Cupey-vision (meaning, he didn't watch it at all).

It was close only because of the point deductions, but I can't see how anyone thought John legitimately won that fight.

So far only 2 people on this thread think John won.

And I remember at the time, the whole Rafael thing, when it transpired the fat, useless bastard hadn't even seen it

I don't want to watch it on youtube, the quality is too shit, I'm going to try and get hold of a decent copy.

john's a hard guy to look good against, but he simply didnt land enough to win more than 5 rounds. it was marquez pressing the action and the two point deductions were bs i thought. i guess if you somehow give him 6 rounds, then he wins 114-112.

the crowd reacted everytime john appeared to have landed a punch. scores were also widely in favor of john, which wasn't surprising considering the fact that dumbass marquez went over there to collect 40k.
