Aren't there stories about Berto getting KTFO as an ammy...on more than one occasion?

yep Rashad Holloway verified the stories. he said on one occasion Berto was literally out on his feet against the ropes. He has been out in sparring as well.

I don't think Berto had the easiest route to a trinket, however he did get dropped by Rivera. Personally I thought Berto was getting hit too much against Estrada, though I knew his next fight Trabant was a gimmie. La Bamba Rodriguez I had never seen fight before, and I wouldn't mind if I never see him fight again.

How funny would it be if Forbes (with 9 career KO's) blasted his ass out?

Wont happen. Berto will do what De La Dipshit couldnt and will stop Forbes.

Also, I'm not positive that Cintron would beat Berto.

Eh, I wouldn't. A few guys hav done better against Forbes than De La Hoya did. Oscar impressed in that fight in as much as he was busy for the 12 rounds....but apart from that he looked like utter shit. Berto should beat his ass rotten.

It's pretty bad when a young prospect like Ortiz is getting compared with Vargas.

His point is a prospect can't be that good, if he's compared to Vargas, insinuating that Vargas wasn't that good.

The truth is Vargas was a very good fighter, but just the kind of fighter that consistently falls short of elite level.

Indeed. and my acknowledgement of that should have been obvious especially with the El Feroids reference at the end?:dunno:
