I don't think that is all that off.

The memorable, one-sided ending spins this fight, imo.

I was rooting for hatton hardcore, and it wasn't a complete domination by floyd, but at no point did I think hatton was winning the fight.

Hatton was going forward ie in Lederman's tiny little mind, winning.

I never had Hatton up although he did some good work in the fight.

I could say, at best, Hatton was down by one after 6 rounds. That would be giving him the 6th, the round in which he lost a point for an attempted rabbit punch (yet another banner night in the career of Joe "pay the Fare to my firm" Cortez).

But to have him up, or even within sneezining distance, after eight rounds means that he won 4 or 5 rounds to that point, which is laughable.

To his credit (or to HBO's shame), Lampley and Merchant were along for the ride as well.

I saw the fight on HBO once. My downloaded version is with UK commentators and they had Hatton way behind and were really surprised when they got the news that Lederman had it so close. They even disagreed on air with his card.

Having Barrera up by a huge margin against morales in the first fight. It was around 116-11 if i remember rightly.

Who pays attention or worse yet actually remembers how Lederman scored a fight?

agree. We've gone from bad cards to 'good' cards. Interesting thread.
