Fedor had a lot of trouble catching Crocop. Roy is much MUCH more elusive than Crocop and has much better footwork. I think Roy can stay away from his grapling and hurt him with hard counters. He might KO him. What do you think?
Roy beating Fedor in MMA. Somebody has over dosed on the smarties. Fedor would destroy Roy in an MMA fight just as Roy would KO Fedor in the boxing ring.
Prime Alexander Karelin, had he concentrated to MMA for two years or so, could have beaten Fedor. He was just a physical freak. Roy Jones with all the athletic ability could have become a great MMA guy too had he practiced it. Now this thread is pure crap
Didn't you see Crocop vs Fedor? Didn't you see how Crocop avoided most of Fedor's grounding attempts? Roy would do that much MUCH better than Crocop. He would also throw faster punches to Fedor. The punches you don't see coming hurt the most. I believe Roy TRULY had the physical tools to beat Fedor in an MMA fight.
DID Fedor or DID Fedor NOT have trouble with grounding Crocop? Is Roy Jones or is he NOT more elusive than Crocop? Is Roy faster than Crocop? Can Roy box better than Crocop? Answer these questions please!
Mirko avoiding Fedor's takedown attempts had as much to do with strength as speed. But the bottom line is that it would only take one grapple or takedown to end Roy's night in brutal fashion. For that matter, Fedor could end it with a single punch also. I find it hard to imagine that Fedor could be in the ring for 25 minutes and not get a hold of Roy one time. That's just unrealistic no matter how fast Roy was.
Roy is more elusive in the boxing ring IMO you cannot compare the two. Without the correct training Fedor would take Roy down within seconds
