    That was a great KO.

Nice work by Williams, he just made a statement to all the other Middleweights (and Welterweights) out there, even if the guy he fought was a can.

And thanks for the stream Hex, i watched this at work, wish it went a bit longer then a minute though:lol: Gotta find something else to do now.

Paul Williams looks very impressive! That ko was devastating. He looks very strong @160. Like I mentioned before he can easily go to Light Heavyweight with that frame! Evryone @147 better stay away!

I agree Williams opponent is a can but Williams looks very comfortable at 160. He also just knocked Quintana out with 1 punch. I would love to watch Williams vs Margarito! Thats the fight to watch! Williams is sitting down on his punches more and knocking people out! Williams/Margarito must happen!!!!

Anyone here think Williams/Margarito II will happen? Margarito has not mentioned Williams name yet, one would figure he wants to avenge his loss.

i doubt williams will go back to 147. arum has shit mapped out for margarito next year and williams isn't part of it. too bad the 154 division kinda sucks.

It's too bad they had Margarito duck Paul Williams.

arum doesnt want to deal w/ haymon. that automatically means williams is out. plus, there are other viable options such as the clottey or cotto rematch.

Oh, I thought I hadn't heard of a fight signed. I'm hoping it will be a high profile matchup because he is losing the luster of the Cotto win with inactivity.

It IS Kind of Funny how MargariTO Built his Rep on Being "Ducked" by the Northern Hemisphere, yet he Acts as if Paul Williams DOESN'T Exist...

    to Joe -

Um, that fight was only in July, exactly 2 months ago

However, if he doesn't at least have a fight signed, or on the horizon soon, he could lose some steam from this win.

    Exactly...

July's the 7th Month of the Year, Leaving 5 MORE Months to Do SOMETHING...

Even REED Wouldn't Complain about MargariTO taking a Tune-Up to Close Out the Year, but Sitting on his ASS the Rest of the Year is COUNTERproductive...

As Looooooong as it Took him to GET to this Point, REED is Surprised that MargariTO would even RISK Losing the Momentum he's Built...

:bears::bears::bears: I agree, Williams name is not even mentioned. This sucks! I want to see Williams/Margarito II. This fight will prove who is the best @147!

when was the last time margarito even did an interview? he didn't say shit about clottey or cotto.

pacquiao was willing to fight marquez the second time around, but arum was in no rush to make that happen. he'll do the same for margarito.

Last time REED heard him Interviewed, MargariTO was Campaigning for the December DeLa Bout...

Since that HASN'T Happened, he's WILLINGLY Placed Himself on the Shelf til February 2009...

Marquez TURNED DOWN the Immediate RE w/Manny Pac...

who wouldnt in their right mind?

he would've been foolish to go w/ the williams rematch right after a tough fight like he had w/ cotto.

I thought his camp - or maybe it was Arum - said he probably could have been ready for a December fight, but given the available dates, it was pretty much November 1st or next year.

Paul is a freak at 147, I'm with Hex in I don't know how he made it down there. But it is obvious Arum wants nothing to do with any of his fighters coming near him.

I like the move to 160 for Paul. Some good cash to made there for him. I would love to see him go after Abraham and set up a nice payday/unification with Pavlik(that is with Pavlik getting past Hop....which he will)

In the meantime, he should do a little shit talking on the Arum camp, Let everyone know Margarito shits the bed when thinking of a rematch with him. Stir it up, Paul:stir:

    Seriously.

Margarito can't catch a break. I can't think of any other welterweight who'd even mention Williams' name and this muthafukka gotta go fight him again - right after fighting Cotto, Cintron, Williams, Clottey...slip a Golden Johnson in there. Goddamn!! At least he fought him ONCE!

On a side note, remember the utterly stupid argument that Margarito was ducking Cotto by fighting Williams?
