I picked Mosley by KO, but it has to be said, he looked worse than I've ever seen him. Even since the Cotto fight, he seems to have declined significantly. His famous handspeed dimished, and moreover, his accuracy and timing was crap, not a patch on what it used to be. Shane fought well as always, and he pulled out the KO at the very end of round 12, which I don't think I've ever seen before. But really, I think he should retire now, he's suddenly drifted into the realm of shotness. He wouldn't stand a chance against the likes of Marge, which is a shame, because I've always been a big Shane fan.

Shane was trying to time him and its hard to do that. 2) The Brits do not know how to score a fight properly. While I don't think Mayorga should have been ahead, Shane did counter a lot of stuff and land a lot more clean effective punches.
The brits had Mayo ahead? WTF? :: I watched the HBO broadcast on Sunday, not Sky. Mayo did a lot better than I thought he would, but he wasn't winning the fight.
I'm sure this is all part of timing and accuracy... but Mosley has also lost his snap. Mosley, to be anyways, always had a distinctive aura to his punches. You could hear them, they always sounded different than the guy he was in there with, they had an explosiveness to them... and that was gone on Saturday.
I agree. They may not have had quite the same force and weight of say, Oscar's left hook even, but they were very distinctive. So fast and explosive. I think it's just the speed that he is lost. Mosley's hands used to be extremely fast and explosive.
actually a lot of people on this board and other boards had Mayoga ahead going into the 12th round. Some even claimed he sometimes dominated and was leading like 107-102 which i found pretty exaggerated.

Mosley hasn't been the same since the steroid accusations. Everybody knows he was juicing big time for the Oscar rematch.
