Pea by wide UD. Not only was Pea too skilled and talented for Rosario, but he'd be too tough and strong as well.

Pea was neither of those things.:lol:Great caesar's ghost. I cannot believe the number of outright lies I read about Pea.

Pea nutlickers: Pea not only won a gold medal in boxing he was also won a gold in olympic weightlighting; he was so fast and elusive the judges just gave it to him.

He'd beat Rosario though by fairly easy ud.It would be a horrible fight the most boring fighter ever against the most boring puncher ever.

Rosario. He hit amazingly hard @135 and had underrated skills.

Sweet Pea wins every round for an easy ud. Whitaker was on a different level.

I thought the same thing about Camacho until Edwin cracked him and changed Hector's career forever.

That being said, Pernell was the slickest of the slick. He mixed a potent offense with an almost magical defense.

I like Pernell to nearly pitch a shutout in this one. However, I would probably say nearly the same thing about any mythical matchup involving Whitaker at 135. Maybe Duran would be slightly different.

This might be the only time I agree with you. Pea was a good fighter but he was cancer to the eyes. Still, he'd beat Rosario like a disobident woman.

whitaker would've whupped rosario badly. not a competitive fight.

not sure how whitaker vs. floyd or mosley would've played out. i'd take mosley over floyd at 135 had it happened when it was proposed back in 99.

I'll take heat for this but style wise...both Pacquaio and Marquez give him a few problems at that weight as well.....

whitaker probably knocks pacquiao out w/ a counter shot. he would've beaten marquez up.

if pacquiao walks into a hard punch he would. whitaker nearly took roger mayweather's head off in 1 round and beat the shit outta of him aside from that knockdown in the 9th.

little pac wouldn't have been able to withstand the damage had he been hit like that. it's not like pac's some sort of a defensive genius and let's face it, here's a guy who's been nearly knocked out by a jab at 122.

marquez had all he could handle w/ freddie norwood. in his absolute prime, he beat up robbie peden, manuel medina and was knocked down three times vs. pacquiao. he aint doing shit to whitaker, who's bigger, stronger, and better.

only argument i can see is that whitaker didn't look good against jorge paez, but still, whitaker beats his ass or any other great featherweights and most lightweights for that matter.

    Nonsense!

Whitaker would handle both with ease at 135.

Rosario might land a good shot or two here and there, but Whitaker wins this convincingly... the Camacho comparison is silly because Whitaker was a better defensive fighter than him and far more ballsy... I never saw anyone intimidate him or spook him with power

Whitaker kicks the shit out of Marquez at 135, honestly

He beats Pacquiao too but is made to work harder for it

How about Tyson, who has one of the most underwhelming resumes, relative to his talent, in modern history?

His career between 1995-2005 is a laughing stock. De La Hoya got more done in a month than that ten-year stretch.
