Vitaly should win convincingly. I think he's a bit tougher than his brother, i doubt he will go down in this fight.

underdog by who? He's favored with the bookies and to be honest I think he should be. Peter is just mediocre as hell.

If Peter makes it to the final bell I'll be surprised. I can see him going down face first.

Peter is up the creek with no paddle. He matches up much better with Vlad than Vitalie. Vialie is stronger, faster, has a better ko %, etc. Peter had indeed as one poster put it been medoicre. Vitalie also punches straighter. This fight could be the end of Peter as somoene who draws any water in the division frankly.

Peter is dogshit. So long as Vitali doesn't fracture a pube in the build-up and pull out, he should stretch that gobby fool in short measure.

If that was four years ago i would pick Vitali without hesitation.

He's too much of a question mark right now.

I agree. I have always been anti-Peter. I don't even think he is power puncher in his division. He is not a David Tua type power fighter. Still, Vitali has been injured for years and there is no way to tell what he has left.

I think it'll be interesting to watch Vitali's footwork...and how balanced, and fluid he'll look in the ring.

He's never been great in that department, and given his age, time off and injuries, he could have problems just navigating around the ring and managing/keeping distance...especially when Peter's plan is probably to come out quickly and try to land something early.

I think Peter's strength could be a big factor in this fight if he can muscle Vitali round the ring...and Vitali, like his brother, is a bit of a clincher...and Peter's always the most dangerous right before/after a clinch.

If Vitali is a shell, and his reaction and timing are gone, there's a chance this could be a Brewster-Golota like steamrolling.

If he still has someting left, then he should at least be able to take this fight into the middle rounds, and if his stamina holds up then Peter The Plodder could be headed to 0-2 against the Brothers Klitschko.

Peter is awful, plain and simple. If Vitali has an ounce of what he had. Sam will be sleeping before the 6th

Vitali may punch harder and straighter, but he doesn't look faster to me, at least. I thought Wlad was faster.

I thought he meant Vitali is faster than Peter. Wlad is clearly the faster, sharper, straighter and harder puncher compared to Vitali. Vitali has enormous body strength but his punches are arm-shots and while they still do damage, he doesn't hit as hard as Wlad. What he has (or used to have) over his brother is the ability to see punches coming and avoid them, ability to take a punch and will to break down his opponents instead of just controlling

But if Vitali is better than Peter, then who really cares how long Peter plans to stick around?

Oh! Vlad is certainly faster than Vitali! Vitali is fster than Peter (as Ugo said is what I meant) though.... I it is entirely possible that Vitali has that "get there before Peter" speed because he punches straighter.

That is correct, but most of Vitali's KOs against better-than-crap opponents have come after mid-rounds as he has systematically broken down his opponents with those long right-handers. Wlad has scored the more spectacular KOs

I like Vitali, I hope he wins so the Klitschko brothers can end the year 1-1 with 2 KOs.

Ugo is correct. Vitalie does need to break em down first.
