You always assume the worst when money is on the line. Don't let your eyes fool you, Dawson won clearly.

I am sure they will meet eventually, perhaps in 2009 if Chad and his management will agree to the fight.

Chris is at number four now in the WBC and may move up a slot after he wins on November 7th in Dallas as Glen and Branco have shown absolutely no intention in fighting Chris, particularly Glen whom Chris is seething at the bit to get in the ring with.

Chris has a major size advantage on Glen, height and solid muscle.

    1 .- Joe Calzaghe (GB)
    2 .- Glen Johnson (US)
3 .- Silvio Branco (Italy) LATINO
4 .- Chris Henry (US) NABF
    5 .- Roy Jones (US)
    6 .- Braimah Kamoko (Ghana)
    7 .- Shaun George (US)
    8 .- Dawid Kostecki (Poland)
    9 .- Alexey Kuziemski (Poland)
    10 .- Antonio Brancalion (Italy)

I stayed up until 4 this morning to give bad chad another chance and I am pleased to say he was much improved.

    BUT

    He still lost to Johnson..

I thought the first fight MIGHT (and I do say might) be a draw, but that was perhaps being fair to Johnson. In truth, it was more a very slight win for Chad.

The disparity comes because the rounds that Chad won he won without distinguishing himself overmuch, whilst the rounds Jonhson won he won pretty clear and having hurt Chad quite badly in spots. Because of this, it was easy to WANT Glen to have won; but it doesn't necessarily mean that he did so...

    Zsolt is the forgotten man.
And I think he beats Glen clearly. Doesn't match up as well against Dawson, but I'd like to see it. But zsolt vs johnson or dawson should come before any johnson dawson rematch.

Does he even want to fight the big names?

No, and that's his problem. Until he starts fighting out of the EU, he can't even begin to expect to figure in any of this.

Also, he's not very good IMHO

i didnt watch it live. i was at pavlik vs. lockett when it happened. watched the replay on showtime when i got back.

i thought johnson won. you can beg to differ, but it doesn't change the fact that plenty of others thought he did as well.

Wow, this is absolutely not true. You always think the complete opposite and then cry you got robbed. Flawed logic, but thanks.

this says it all. johnson has signed to face jones jr, tarver, dawson, hopkins, calzaghe and others but he fears HARD HITTIN henry. hard hittin henry is the most feared man on the planet, he made a coward out of glen johnson.

Dawson vs Pavlik is a good matchup of styles. It would be a good fight.

Agreed. The Pavlik express comes to an end if he fights Dawson. Chad would light Kelly up in a bad way.

Kessler would also light up Pavlik IMO.

Ahhhh haaaaaaaaaa!!!, your still on the Glen Johnson bandwagon?, you lept off the Dawson bandwagon remember?.. Now you've come wrigglin' back,..:nono: ,.. Dawson was always going to own Tarver's arse, and everyone at lightheavyweight will refuse to fight him, he's quite huge though, and I don't think he'll be at lightheavyweight for long, he'll be beating the fuck out of Guillermo Jones by this time next year, you mic.

Yep! And I said this PRIOR to Sat!

At this point the thought of a Dawson-Pavlik matchup sounds almost comical. Bad Chad would literally toy with Pavlik, before stopping him.

Didn't it sound that way before Saturday night?

Pavlik's always been slow footed and easy to hit.

Dawson does better against Johnson a second time round,.. .

.........speaking of which,.. Hopkins gets all this overration for being some sort of marvellous athlete at 43,..-well take a captain cooke at Johnson?,.. a REAL marvel,.. high energy, throws tonnes of punches,..heads straight in, doesn't back up,.. ..THIS is worthy of a rating at 40+ ... instead of Hopkins shitty conservative, backing up and clutching style,... but we never hear of Johnson's age,..but it's somewhat illegal not to mention Hopkins age..
