I've heard that the reason Pavlik's head wasn't quite in the fight, is because he had a pair of sneak-preview tickets to...SAW V!!

Bernard Hopkins is like the Jigsaw killer. No matter how many times you try to stop him, he just keeps coming back to the top year after year.

Great! Every year during Halloween you can expect 2 things to happen that are interconnected. A new Saw movie will come out and Jake will turn into a pumpkin by donning his alter ego Saw and start promoting the movie on this site like he's getting royalties or something.

 

why was it an upset? was anyone really surprised hopkins won? maybe the manner and ease in which he won was surprising, but that's it.

 

I'm pretty surprised he won. I just didnt think he had the workrate at this stage to pull it off.

I knew if he was a bit younger, he'd beat the shit outta Pav, but I figured right now he was just too old. I stand corrected.

Pav is a good fighter, but he's simply not in the class of Hopkins, Jones, and Calz. All 3 of those guys are WELL past it, yet you'd still gotta make the latter two betting favorites over Kelly after Sat.

 

Thats messed up man, SAW was always garbage anyhows. None of the sequels of almost ANY MOVIE ever lived up to the original, I'd be checking a torrent site to download, watch, then delete the garbage before it ever hit the box office.

 

Is this SAW guy paying for advertising here?
