WTF man? How can server problems take like a week to rectify? :: I had to post on the shitty boxrec forums, full of retards.
When it is difficult to resolve an issue such as the CPU issue as well as lacking most recent backups, it becomes an extended issue, even for the most savvy of IT specialists, now the company most likely did fukkup in the length of time taken to resolve the issue, but they are also probably giving Cupey an excellent deal now and cutting him a break in the future as well as watching his servers like a hawk. Boxrec sux btw.
I had similar problems,.. it's difficult trying to adapt to a new eco-system,.. I thought Id try and post at Maxboxing,.. but it turned out I was a bit too bold for a newbie especially in light of Hopkins victory, and was consequently beaten up, before being inexplicably banned,... Cupey's an arsehole.
:: :: Matchup I agree. I had heard people mention boxrec before, but I was highly disappointed. This forum is much, much better. More knowledgable posters and cooler people. Boxrec is full of boring, charmless posters who don't seem to know much about boxing.
I tried boxingscene, but the forum script sucks. also tried boxingfanatics, well.... F*ck you Cupey, you almost left us homeless!!! :flip:

I was doing a little posting at Max... I'm real cool with some guys over there, including their admin Eaner, but it's just not for me as a daily forum. No disrespect, but I like the edge we maintain over here.
For what? The fact that we didn't lose all the threads again? Knowledge, intelligence and personality it seems. Surely some of these other sites have a few good posters. Maybe you guys should try to coax those good ones into coming over here. That's what this forum needs, some poster scouts and poster recruiters. These guys could find other talented posters worthy of being at fightbeat and get them to come here.
