I think he's solid at best but featherweight is pretty barren right now.

I was watching a stream that went back and forth between the boxing and ufc. I didn't mind, as this fight seemed like a snoozer. Did that Hamed wannabe at least get ko'd?

Billy Dib sucks, Luevano outclassed him but it was not easy to watch, IMO neither was Rubio-Ornelas till the last 3 rounds.

Luevano is average. Not good, not bad. Just average.

That he couldn't do anything with a novice like Dib speaks volumes for the guys caliber or ack thereof.

He's destined for Top Rank PPV undercard filler. They're trying to push through a Luevano-Rocky Juarez "catchweight" fight, but it's hardly a main event in and of itself (unless on ESPN2 or Telefutura).

I don't know, this was his 4th straight HBO PPV appearance. Not sure if it's solely Top Rank's doing, if HBO likes the kid, or what. But he's really not any better (or at least any more entertaining) than when he was coming up on the Telefutura circuit. The Santiago fight was a fun one, but an exception... not to mention that he didn't even win it (I thought it was a fair verdict, for what it's worth).
