For some reason the stupid system causes you to create a thread before creating the poll...unless someone can tell me how to do the two simultaneously?

Sly why did you delete my poll ? I created it before you created this pile of shit. My poll was specific to the p4p thread question, this poll is not.

It was my idea and mine was an actual poll first, because Sly failed at the complicated task of internet thread creation.

I think anyone who thinks Marquez won the first fight knows nothing about boxing. Pacman beat the dogshit out of Marquez.

I think the second fight could have gone either way and the judges said Pac won. I picked Pac won both, but really pAC won the 1st and the second could have gone either way.

First fight for Pacquiao (don't remember the score), 2nd fight for Marquez 114-113.

Both fights could've gone either way.

if you're a fan of clean effective punching, Pacquiao won both handily.

If you like technical savvy and looking more polished...

fuck you, thats not how fights are scored.

A judging error cost Pac the first fight, he won the second fight. I picked Pac won both.

My feelings exactly. The first fight, I thought it was ludicrous people whinging about Marquez winning etc. Shit, it was Pacman who was robbed with a draw, he won that fight clear.

The second fight was different, the Gay Marquez fans do have more reason to whine, that's a fight that could have gone either way. I thought Pacman edged it, but personally wouldn't have complained if it had been scored for Marquez.

I almost co-sign. I had Marquez winning both fights by one point each (I think I had the first fight 113-112), but didn't have any problem with the official verdict in either fight. Nor would have I been upset if Pac won the 1st fight by a point or two.

Anyway, based on the options offered, I picked "Marquez won both fights."

I had Marquez winning both, but in retrospect I think the draw was the right result in the first. Marquez won the second, clearly, IMO.

I almost agree 100%. The only disagreement I have with you is that I think the second fight could have been scored a draw for Pac, at max though. In my mind, there's no way he won the second fight.

I thought Marquez clearly won the first fight. The 2nd was so hard to judge I couldn't tell who was winning certain rds so I just put it in as a draw for the 2nd one. I still don't have an official opinion on that one. :dunno:

Sly at this point your biased poll thus far has Pacqiauo hardly ahead in wins, 27 - 22... very interesting

Despite the heavy influence the judges have had against Marquez' favour in both fights ( The "scoring error" in the 1st fight has worked against Marquez in this type of poll)

What was the original question/claim that prompted this thread, anyway?

Interesting results so far. The majority believes Pacquiao won the 1st fight, which is to be expected (16-7, with 6 agreeing with the draw) and that Marquez won the rematch (15-12, 2 having it a draw).

Pac got jipped in that first fight you toad,..and you know it,... however as much as I hate your midget hero through you,... he did indeed deserve the certificate for the rematch,...and if they ever fought again,.. it would be reasonable to make Marquez the favourite..

hopefully JMM can score a Knockdown if they fight again. Obviously that's what it takes to win a fight between them two. Regardless of how many rounds JMM racks up.
