Great fight: grit vs. glitz. Who wins? Amaingly, Andrade is just as tall as Dawson and has a deceptively savage body attack.

Can Chad's speed and skill keep the monster off him?

Glen Johnson put some hurt on Chad but he's also a more technically skilled fighter. Dawson has no problems going the distance so i doubt he'd make any big mistakes allowing Andrade to capitalize big.

    Dawson by decision.

I dunno,... my first reaction, my inner 'Xplosive' screams that it's a mismatch, Dawson 12 - zip,... ...and I think I would have to stick with that you know,.. those woefully slow hands and feet oughta be too much of a burden for Andrade to have any success at all against Dawson, you can see Andrade coming for miles.

    a. johnson arguably beat dawson
    b. andrade can punch moving forward, defeating in part dawson's superior foot-work
    c. andrade's chin is iron; dawson's is fragile;
    d. dawson hasn't always shown steady stamina (knocked down badly bt Adamek due to fatigue)

    just things to remember.

johnsons defense is what gave dawson problems. andrades defense is terrible. a surefire asswhipping.

I think Chad had an off night against Johnson. Not to say Glenn didnt have some to do with it, but Chad seemed slower and less sharp in that fight than usual. I think he definitely underestimated Glenn.

Chad would box the shit outta Andrade.

I must disagree with these, not that I'm an expert, but in my humble opinion, when watching Kessler - Andrade, ... Kessler's footwork turned Andrade into an obsolete toy, he looked like a plump cow being pulled around in a circle on a leasche at a farmers auction, .....and stamina being the reason for Dawson falling down after taking that desperate hail mary right from Adamek that landed as crisp as a schnitzel? [IMG]Well,..I didnt agree with peoples claims that Mundine fell down unconscious due to fatigue against Otka,.. and I cannot agree with this one either..

Well if Booty, who's a homeless man's Dawson, can outbox Andrade for 11 n a half rounds... I think Chad can school him all night.

Bute almost got sparked in round 4

if the ref hadn't stepped in to stop the fight. There was a number of other times bute was slightly hurt and guess what, the ref saved his ass again. If there were a different ref in the ring, bute would have been sparked early.

I think Dawson-Andrade would be a repeat of Dawson-Adamek, personally. But it's still a fight I'd love to see.

Regardless of that, Booty still isnt nearly as fast or as skilled as Dawson.

Agree. Dawson dominates early and survives a couple scares near the end to win a decision.

I'd rather see Dawson-Cloud, or better yet... Dawson-Kessler.

Dawson didn't have an off night against Glen at all.

Coffe was on his arse almost every second, of course he is not going to look sharp and flashy etc when he is being pressured like that.

    I thought Glen clearly won.

Somehow I just don't like Dawson. He beat Tarver with relative ease, but somehow I didn't find him that impressive.

same here. i question his toughness. i'm not saying he couldn't out-box Andrade, for example, but i could envision him - it wouldn't surprise me one bit - to see him melt down mentally in the face of Andrade's pressure.

dawson actually has a win or two that was worth give a damn. andrade has ZERO significant wins in his career against a top fighter. when he stepped up, he was thoroughly outclassed.

dawson would beat him up easily.
