Having ducked good fighters when the fights would've mattered, who's the next decrepid "legend" Joe wil choose to fight and get undue credit for beating?

As far as I'm concerned, the only meaningful win he's had in years was over Kessler.

I'd like to see him fight Andrade.

    Why?

    Calz would win 12-0 easily.

Ditto. I'd be prepared to bet money that Andrade would not win a single round.

Who's LEFT @ or Near Calzaghe's Weight Range???...

    Tito???...

Get OVER your Hate, Doub...Sure, the TIMELINESS of Calzaghe's BIG Fights Sucked, but he was DOMINANT N 2 "Crossroads" Fights (Lacy, Kessler) & he Treated 2 Faded LEGENDS just like he SHOULD Have...

    Calzaghe is/was "The GOODS"...

The Dawson fight would be a terrific way to go out....much better than beating a 100 year old man.

Calzaghe perfect timing...he decided to step up his competition/come to the states right when Jones/Hopkins were a few years past their primes...

Calzaghe should retire..he is on top of his game...and can't do any better..worst thing he could do is fighting DAWSON...and get beat...then everything he has accomplish in the last will go down the shitter...

Calzaghe losing to Dawson will just illustrate that he was good..not great and beat great fighters..because they were past their prime....

So he's in the same weight class as Chad Dawson, but you'd like to see him fight Andrade?

    That makes complete sense.

    sad

usually fighters who beat a bunch of old legends are young guys at the start of their career, getting the torch passed on to them

I don't see why anyone would want to see Bute or Andrade fight anybody but each other in their next fight.

Regardless, I have little desire to see the winner fight Calzaghe...at 168 or 175.

seeing how Hops toyed with Pavlik a p4per... i am reluctant to take credit away from Calzaghe by calling Hopkins faded... :dunno:

Andrade would not win a single minute of ANY round in a fight against Joe. Not a single minute.

    To suggest otherwise is absurd.

Joe's great but to me he will be remembered as the guy who fought Jones and Hopkins when the coast was clear of danger.

That's why he has to fight dawson

If floyd mayweather thinks dawson is the best, then calzaghe should finish his career with a near prime dawson to put the cherry on top of the cake and to extinguish talk about him beating grampas way past their prime.

    Yup....

Calzaghe is great...but not ALL TIME GREAT...he wasted his early/mid career...it wasn't till later that he beat Lacy/Kessler to good/very good fighters..then fought the 2 guys that are both wayyyy past their primes..esp. JONES>..

you act like Andrade is a light-weight. He's like, 6'2". He'd be a handful for anyone at 175.

if Joe got up. The KDs from Hopkns and RJJ were nothing. If Abdrade mixed it up with Sloppy and landed a body-shot/upper-cut combination, the fight could easily be over.

Sure, because there's plenty of evidence to suggest that Joe can be KO'd that easily, and that Andrade can KO an elite fighter that easily :atu:

moot point anyways. joe doesn't fight opponnts who trade. he likes the tit for tat game in which he can control the action with his volume because his opponent is too puss to punch with him.

slow or not, if joe is flurrying, andrade's not gonna cover-up and let joe take the round. he's gonna trade AND land.

Honestly, DOUBLEL needs to be banned. Why is this know nothing allowed to pollute my eyes. What will we tell our children. I am surprised at how little DoubleL knows. If I were the dictator, which I will be, I will see to it that he is castrated and then euthanized.

I like Andrade alot, but theres no way in holy hell he's beating Joe. Dont forget Booty schooled him virtually every round until the last, and Booty is a poor man's Calz at best.
