Andre Tsurkan Librade Andrade Anotonio Margarito David Diaz Manny Pacquiao Erik Morales Who else? Imagine if the sport were cleansed of non-balls-to-the-walls fighters. We'd be crying for cards every night.
dude - what's your game? you're looking for shame where there is none. i've been clean for 6 years, and experienced feelings you never will your entire life. i think i'm one up on your dickless ass.
no one is sympathetic to your plight, let alone envious :: these shitty threads where you attempt to find new ways to pat your favorite fighters on the back must cease. what you need to do is take a page out from a fellow smack junkie, Kurt Cobain. End your worthless existance.
Perhaps he means the Ndou that Floyd wiped his ass with and retired. But I agree with Neil. Someone needs to ban this clown for all this pointless, agenda driven threads he makes.
Diaz? No. He's not balls to the wall at all. When Nate stood up to him, Juan basically folded and quit mentally.
Shit, what an idiot, I saw Diaz and assumed it was Juan :: It's still early, I'm tired. It is in fact David. He probably fits the mould better actually. Even when he was getting raped by Pacman, he kept coming.
I mean David Diaz. And by the way, there's no agenda to these threads other than to celebrate fighters who consistently put on exciting fights. And Lovemore N'dou indeed qualifies. Watch his fight with Cotto. He chased Cotto out of the ring. Or his fight with Juarez. It was a war!!! Only when he's in against a stinker like Witter or Maliggiani (guys who clearly would not make this list) would anyone think of omitting Lovemore N'dou from this list. And to Neil: You're missing my point. I have no plight !!! That's what you seem unable to get through your thick skull.
if you don't like my threads, stay out of them. in fact, even if you do like them, stay out. all you do is insult me. you have no interest in discussing boxing with me. and why are you so obsessed with the fact that 6 YEARS ago I had a little drg problem. I bet your mom's a crack whore or something and it's why you find it so unforgivable and can't even address me without making reference to it. My guess is you're a complete wreck of a person. And this shit of you taking it out on me should end. Why you've chosen me to stalk and insult given any chance I'm not sure. But it makes you seem awfully immature and makes me question why you even bother responding to anything I say if you find me so despicable (nevermind the fact you don't even know me). You're way out of line. A mess of a person. And you should probably be institutionalized is my guess. This is only a guess. But it's based on years of being the brunt of unprovoked insults from you that have me wondering, WTF is wrong with this guy? Is he gay? Is his dck tiny? Did I fck his mom unknowingly? Just not sure. But you sure have it in for me and for the life of me I can't figure out why.
Big names like Gatti, Holyfield, Morales and Corrales tend to stand out in my mind as having styles/mentalities that made for consistently exciting fights. Other fighters like Wayne McCullough, Mickey Ward, Ivan Robinson, Antonio Diaz etc. were pretty exciting. Derrick Jefferson was...especially for a heavyweight. Guys like Paulie Ayala, Philip Holiday and Ray Oliveira could be very busy punchers...not sure if that qualifies them as "balls to the walls fighters".
Maybe if you didn't respond to every insulting post of his as if it really bothers you he'd leave you alone. You're an easy target because you're clearly affected. Be the bigger man and just ignore him.
Every Juarez fight was a war, Witter-N'Dou was actually a decent fight. But three of N'Dou's last four fights were completely forgettable, including last weekend against Cintron, who's anything but a boring fighter. N'Dou's entire game plan consisted of punching for the first 15-20 seconds of a round, then clinch the rest of the way. N'Dou deserves credit for taking on all comers, but for that, why not add Glen Johnson to the list? Emmanuel Augustus? Verno Phillips? Kassim Ouma?
Those are all good additions. I didn't see the Cintron/N'dou fight but if N'dou was doing a lot of holding it's probably due to his not being able to handle Cintron's power very well. Afterall, he fought most of his career at 140, plus as we know, if nothing else Cintron is a hard puncher. But yeah, Augustus, Phillips, Johnson and Ouma all qualify, although Phillips I've seen fall into a repetitious rythm before that has made some of his fights less than exciting. I think R. Marquez definitely belongs on the list. And Arce too. And probably Darchinyian.
seriously? did you see his fight with Torres? or N'dou? he was damn near knocked out by Torres and in the next round was trading with him on the ropes. we may see a change in him in light of his loss to Margarito, but prior to that, I always viewed him as a fierce and very aggressive fighter. He certainly threw caution into the wind more times than not in racking up all of the knockouts he has. Also, I think Pavlik should be added to the list. And Edison Miranda. Those guys are in the ring, and they try to hunt you down. Period. It's tempting to include Hatton but he does so much holding if the other guy actually punches back that I don't think he belongs there. As far as Basilio, Marciano and Feliciano I couldn't agree more. Feliciano, being a contemporary fighter, especially sticks out in my mind. The way he stood up to Cintron's bombs and kept coming is the very definition of, "Balls to the Walls."
completely agREED on Marquez and Darchinyan. I would put Vic on the list more so than Arce. Both FIGHT balls to the wall - but Vic doesn't shy away from fighting top shelf competition. Not saying Arce has any bitch in him in that regard, just that his handlers are far less willing.
Feliciano is an example of a fighter who's far too brave for his own good, and really needs to retire right now. As cruel as it sounds, it won't surprise me if any given future fight is followed up with an obituary shortly thereafter.
I remember speaking about him here before. The kid has nothing but bad times ahead if he keeps on this path.
