    YES I SAID IT!!!!!

The UFC heavyweight champion vs the pride heavyweight champion. Who wins and why? Can Lesnar ground and pound his way to a victory? Will the crafty Fedor stop him by submission?

From what I saw against Couture.Lesnar would get the Zulu treatment from Fedor...Brocks just not good enough yet.

Pride is dead though Fedor is the WAMMA Heavyweight Champion now.

Lesnar's a bad matchup for anyone because he's huge and fast. I do think that Fedor wins via submission at this point.

At this point in their careers you have to say Fedor.

The sad part is, if they ever do wind up fighting, it won't be for at least a few years when Brock is better than he is now, and Fedor will most likely be on the decline.

And as we've seen in MMA so many times with guys like Liddell, Hughes, Wandy, Cro-Cop, etc, when top fighters lose it, they seemingly lose it overnight.

    Oh so true.

Right now, Fedor wins easy. probably under a minute submission

This is why I can't wait to see Lesnar in with Mir again or Nog. I really want to see if he's learned anything since the Mir fight about avoiding submissions.

If he has, he would be more than a handful for even Fedor.

Remember though, Brock has now dropped Mir, Herring and Couture with single punches. I personally think his stand up is being very overlooked given his size and wrestling background.

How is he going to do that exactly? You think he's getting Lesnar to to ground in under a minute? I seriously dount that. Lesnar is far superior to Fedor in wrestling. He's not going to blow him out, not a chance.

I'm not even going to say who would win, it's stupid. The fight will never happen.

Yep, his stand up is definitely improved and he's got power no doubt about it. Fedor is not going to be able to just take Lesnar down, and who knows how the fight will go standing. People who are saying "fedor easy" are on some shit. Lesnar isn't going to be an easy fight for anyone. Even the 90 second loss to Mir didn't come easy.

He beat Couture convincingly and was never in any real trouble throughout the fight.

I know he's a work in progress, but give the man some credit.

I thought the same, Randleman comes to mind. I know Brock is a handful, the size match up makes him a handful for anyone. But his submission defense has so far to go. right now, Fedor would have little trouble exploiting that. Like TFK said though, he's a work in progress.

I do have to take up an issue with you BYG. You give no love to Brock. I wouldn't go as far as saying you are a hater, but you definitely never give him any credit. You didn't with the Herring fight, nor the Randy fight. I am pretty sure I have seen you call him a hype job. Now much of this is deserving, but where the consistancy problem lies with you is how you were all up on Kimbo's jock. You always came to his defense when posters ripped on him. You constantly gave him credit for his wins, striking, that his skills were improving and that the nay sayers are just haters cuz Kimbo is getting paid. So give me the reason. Is it just a personality issue, and you just don't like Brock? I have had that problem with fighters before. So what is it?:dunno:
