Valuev is terrible, so yes, a shot Holyfield has a chance.

Even at his fighting prime........Evander would have had a problem with a guy with the style and humongous size of Valuev.

Holyfield can still do it but indeed it wouldnt be suprising to see him lose although I dont think anyone will KTFO Holyfield. He might tire and get stopped that way though. he's just too old for the job now. but I hope he gets it one more time so he can retire

 

Freak Man

I hope Evander does a job on that dim witted, simple minded circus performer with two left leaden feet.

Valuev actually belongs in a travelling carnival, a freak show if you will, going around to the villages and farms in Russia doing strong man acts, like Anthony Quinn in "La Strada."

He could wrestle drugged up bears with no teeth, arm wrestle opponents from the audience, and clean out the horse stables and scrub the toilets after the tent closed for the night, and then sleep "under the stars" in his sleeping bag on the icy, rocky ground, just like Quinn did as "Zampano the Strong!" in the movie.

 

What should Evander do after he loses to the circus performer?

 

I hope he does too brother Karl, but Holy is looking worse and worse..

He'll keep fighting LOK, he has major financial problems and major child support issues.

He has a tv commerical for a law firm that is running in Houston right now, and you can barely comprehend what the guy is saying.

Kenny Weldon is training him for this fight, not Ronnie Shields or Tim Knight.

Too bad he had to run into a guy at the downslide of his career as Valuev wouldn't have lasted five rounds with the guy at his peak.

For your information, Valuev is known as a pretty intelligent and well-spoken guy. You shouldn't judge his smarts based on his looks.

Second, he might not have those hot limbs of Juan Diaz, but his record isn't that bad. If he was as bad as you suggest, wouldn't you think somebody would have whipped him already?

 

Watching this fight will be like watching Glaciers move.

Valuev really needs to find another line of work, probably menial labor work or maybe being a "Sheperd" would be more up his alley.

If that dosen't work out, he could play the monster in "Frankenstein" if Universal does a remake one day, and unlike Boris Karloff who originally had the part, Valuev would save the studio a ton of money as he wouldn't have to wear and be outfitted with expensive makeup, he's naturally horrible looking, just perfect for the role.

As retarded as he is, that too would not be a problem as he wouldn't have to memorize lines, he'd just have to yell and growl, that's all that ape's dialogue will consist of, anyway.

 

agREED on both parts. And I think Valuev will stop Evander. It MIGHT be a fight for two or three rounds, but Holy's only chance is to fuck around and catch him with something lucky. Of course in order to do that, he'd actually have to throw a punch, which already handicaps his chance of winning.
