    Steve Kim:

Not sure what Tarver's name is doing there...hard to believe that's accurate.

Kessler could be a good fight.

Well, if he was drugged before their last go-round then perhaps they should fight again.

He looked old, slow and drawn. 175 pound rematch won't make a difference. I know you're probably being sarcastic, but just in case; no.

Yep. If Glen Johnson didn't get a rematch it's hard to explain why Tarver would. A Kessler fight isn't likely to happen either.

    Typical name dropping.

Yeah, hopefully whoever was feeding him the information had said "Tavoris" and he just misheard it and thought Tarver...or something like that.

I'd like to see Cloud fight someone who isn't slow, dead an inanimate.

    Wouldn't Dawson qualify?

Someone who's not a world champion, first. He doesn't deserve a shot yet.

I understand the sentiment and agree that Cloud shouldn't be the #1 contender given his resume - and that Gonzalez should not be in any eliminators at this point - but that doesn't mean I wouldn't want to see him fight Dawson.

I like the match-up. I'd be pleased if it - or at least Dawson - ended up on HBO.

Tarver has a rematch clause, I believe. That´s probably the reason his name is in the mix.

HBO's already on record in rejecting a Dawson-Tarver rematch. Of course a follow-up convo w/ Al Haymon could change their minds in a hurry, but I just don't see them - or even Showtime - putting up any sort of coin for that fight.

That would be the ultimate test to see if Tarver would invoke - or as Gary Shaw would say, "revoke" - his rematch clause. Their first fight sold a whopping 700 tickets, not like there's any sort of demand for a return go.

    Did he really?

God I hadn't even thought about that.

In that case, I think this is actually a case where I hope the champion does dump the belt(s).

Champion? Didn't you listen to Buffer @ the weigh-in. The 175 pound champion is B-Hop.

If Chad REALLY Gives a Fuck about HOW he's Perceived, he'll Grant Glencoffe (Yeah, REED Knows it's REALLY GlenGOFFE, but that's GAY) a RE....

Other than a Calzaghe Fight, there's NO "Must" Fight for Dawson @ 175...& Even if he has ANOTHER Close, Controversial Win Over Glencoffe, that'll B ENOUGH for REED....

    Hopkins anyone?? :dunno:

I think Dawson is ready to take on Bhop. He took on Tarver already... let's see it happen...

I'd like to as well, but I don't even think Cloud is in the WBC rankings...at least not near the top of them.

Can't see the sides having much reason for making it.

    The Ring belt, right?

What's that old saying..."it's the champion that makes the belt".

I guess you can take that literally with the Golden Boys.

Andrade. He can easily make 175, and will be just as violent.

DAWSON beat Johnson you cunts. Dawson does not owe you know nothings a rematch. He won and won clearly. I was cheering for Johnson but I know how to score a fight. Johnson did not win and he did not deserve a draw. You have to watch the fight and leave your perceptions out of it. Did Chad look good. No. Did he win legitimately. Yes.

Besides dave-steve I am the second biggest Glen Johnson fan. He lost. Stop being vile cunts.

I missed that fight but thought Johnson got robbed from what I've read. That's even better for Chad if two Johnson fans say he won.

cloud vs diacanu would be a good scrap. too bad diacanu still owes HARD HITTIN henry a rematch from that fiasco that occurred in romania. we all know HARD HITTIN henry deserved the decision but it was a complete heist.

I'd LOVE to see Dawson-Kessler, but I doubt it'll happen.
