very good fight....hard to match them up....Froch hasn't fought anyone as quick as Pascal, but it is a big step up for the Canadian too. I haven't seen as much of Pascal as i would have liked (having tipped him for success years ago)....understand he hasn't looked all that convincing recently?...what do we reckon....whose 0 will go!??!......Froch hits hard, has Pascal answered the chin question yet
Never seen Froch fight but if he has any pop what so ever he stops Pascal. How that guy even got this far without getting KTFO is amazing.
Until you look at who he has fought. Froch will touch Pascal's chin sooner or later and that will be the end. I am not impressed with Froch in the least but it's a very winnable fight for him.
Me too, I am not impressed in the slightest with Frock. But I haven't even seen Pascal. Is he that bad that even Frock could beat him?
Last I saw of Pascal was on an ESPN card with Miranda. Miranda destroyed David Banks and Pascal damn near got KO'd by some scrub who's name I can't even remember.
As Z mentioned, he about got KTFO by some bum. For a fast fighter Pascal's defense sucks. Bad chin,bad defense against Froch=a guy who is going to go to sleep.

Pascal's MORE Athletic (Quicker Handed, MORE Mobility) & will Probably Build an EARLY Lead, but Froch has a SWAGGER to his Style, a DECENT Amount of Athleticism N his Own Right & LEGIT Power... REED Can't Imagine Pascal Going 12 FULL Rounds w/Out Getting Touched FLUSH by Froch...& When, Not If, but WHEN this Happens, it'll B Pascal's Ass... Pascal was Clearly SHOOK by Being WOBBLED By a SCRUB on the Same Show as Miranda's EXPLOSIVE KO of Banks...ESPN2 was HYPING Pascal-Miranda as their BIG Summer Fight of 2008, but Pascal Couldn't Find his Courage or Cashews when it was Time to Man Up & Actually FACE Miranda... You are correct. Pascal is going to end up in the hospital asking when the fight started unless he mails it in and fights like Corey Spinks.
Froch hasn't fought shit......just like Pascal hasn't. Of the two, ..Froch has looked more impressive, BUT, Both will be each other's stiffest test. Styles make fights and Pascal wins by mid to late round TKO.

So much for Froch's vaunted power,.. .. it's all good and well to time hail mary shots against the rowdy 'british league' ,...but if he cant do that, well Im afraid the game is up, as much he insists he has power ... he's just gunna come off sounding like Calzaghe, he too once had a ko ratio of 90%,.. he steps it up a bit,.. now it's lingering around 60%.. ..Carl's the same only... he hasnt got any skills ofcourse.
if u have much less skills and still a comparable KO Ratio then i'd guess something is making up for it... :dunno:
Calzaghe has oodles of skill,..but Carl on the otherhand,.. unloaded everything on a glass chinned bum, ok, so we now have to establish that he doesn't have world class power, just bum beating power, he can put tramps to bed...goodluck to him, I suggest he relinquish his paper belt, and do just that, for as this Pascal fight proved,..he's not ready to face fringe contenders just yet.
There is an argument is just as strong if not stronger, just to say that Pascal can take a shot better than we thought......he would have been in the shape of his life for this fight whereas he may not have been when he has been shaken in previous outings........rumour used to be (and maybe still is) that you could go in any club or bar in montreal and you would have a fair chance of runnin into Pascal.....maybe he simply knuckled down for this fight
