The De Leon win means something. Neither of these last two fraudulent title defences mean a damn thing. He's just stepped right back into the kinds of opponents that protected prospects look at.
dsimon writes: It means quite a bit actually. :: Ma has not fucked up. He has been solid and perfect and will probably distinguish himself when he is good and ready. :kidcool:
No better time than the present for Juanma to get rid of the Quez....he fucks around waste time..and doesn't get those guys name on his resume...
dsimon writes: What if the guy had exposed a weakness? Lookit is a legitimate part of boxing to run through prospects and Ko them. When Hatton stepped up against Zoo he had been virtually perfect.... hy the need to rush the guy and who in their right mind would want to get destroyed by that kid... that kid has power and will fuck anyone up who gets in his way.:kidcool:
dsimon writes: Its never what people want... if I was a prospect I would want to KO all comers, fuck line em up two a night!!!! thats the way to do it no wear and tear, and when you step up prepare for it.... but look at a guy like Juan Ma after 50 fights and look at a boxer puncher in that division... which guy's brain would you want to be Illum? :: Seriously I would never let my kids box in that division unlsee they had power like Juan Ma... those guys take too many shots otherwise Ma is doing what he should do imo.... He will be a great fighter imo.
dsimon writes: It was fitting for the theme of the night "throw the fight night." :: Kid hits hard! I like Juam Ma and like the way he is coming up.. When you consider wear and tear and his division, that kind of power is special Medina is just another fish to fry big deal! ::
Above all else, the problem with your assessment is, he's not a prospect, he's a Top 5 junior featherweight.
dsimon writes: fair enough...he is young at 25 imo, please excuse the imprecise use of the term "prospect." ::
Juanma has called out Vazquez a couple of times, but Vazquez has not responded. He is just waiting for another clash with Marquez...like if there weren't other good fights in the division.:notallthere:
Then he should call out Marquez....if he doesn't buy it..then call out that dirty tall cunt.....from Colombia or whatever...
The more I read about Izzy's eyes, the more I think that he should retire. I can't see him staying aruond much longer than a cash out with Marquez.
dsimon writes: thats what I like about Haye frankly... that and the division he fights in. Of course Haye gets shit for the opposite reason! opcorn: How dare he call out a pristine Klitschko as a champ in another division. So Juan Ma is a cunt for not calling people out presumably While Haye is a cunt for calling then out? Fightbeat logic at its best. The truth is that Marquez would be a great fight for Ma if he was not so scared about remaining undefeated. Marquez is the goods. Ma has room to learn if he has the balls to step up.
This kid is exciting and clearly has the power but lets see him in there with Marquez, Vasquez, Caballero...
Yeah, of course there's also the fact that most believe Juanma is a better fighter, a better super bantamweight than Haye is a heavyweight...that he's done something at the particular weight to support that belief...and based on that, would likely make for a much better fight against a top 122 pounder than Haye would against either Klitschko. But of course, it's none of that. Everybody on here just wants to keep the pristine looking "beautiful" and are worried Haye may ruin that. It's not like your obsession with Haye, and perhaps moreso with the Klitschko's, has led you to once again mention them in a completely unrelated thread.
Medina 138 on the night!......16 lbs put on between weigh-in and fight.....making the weight must have taken so much out of him.......puts the strange performance into some context
There aren't many who want a piece of Celestino... That said, assuming Izzy isn't damaged; I see him doing very well with Caballero...better than Rafael would.
Juanma gets no praise from me for Saturdays fight. That was some bullshit. The dude came to lay down. He's an exciting fighter and seems to be very good, but this fight was garbage.
