    It was close though. And let's face it, Floyd only won because Oscar can't fight beyond 8 rounds. When Oscar threw the jab with authority he controlled the fight early on. Prime Oscar beats Floyd's ass anywhere above 130lb.

    Correct that was a close fight and I agree a prime Oscar beats Floyd.

    Also I remember Floyd barking on that he could still make 140 - he should prove it and fight Manny.

    but thats exactly what I am saying. indeed he will use his usual defensive safety first strategy and do just enough to win. he could pull out so much more and give him the RJJ threatment but thats not who he is, he isnt like Ali and RJJ he is safety and winning first, being flashy second. and if you compare their records, I think he made a pretty good choice.

    and that thing with his father is irrelevant. we all know that the Mayweather family is far from the happy Disney family we all strive to be.
