According to boxtalk talks are underway for having Manny fight Zab. Jesus I hope not! Zab doesnt deserve ONE more fucking shot at any elite fighter! Not until he beats a quality opponent first anyway. Waste of time fight for Manny also, and too high risk/little reward. If he beats Judah, so fuckin what? And if by some unlikely chance Zab were to pull the upset, it would tarnish Manny and kill his big paydays with Hatton, and maybe Floyd.

I cant understand why Arum would want this fight for Manny, I thought they were gonna go straight to Hatton.

Hopefully this is just a bullshit rumor.

Let Zab fight Malignaggi, in a loser leaves boxing forever match.

It's just G. Leon trying to stir stuff up for his boy Judah.

zab keeps getting shots because his desperate ass will take a 5% chunk of the pie if he has to, convinced he's one win away from parity. but the wins never come.

Zab beats Paulie. He'd have zero fear of his "power" and would probably just blast him out. That is a fight that would make Judah look good.

Zab hasnt scored a stoppage in years. He couldnt even stop that super stiff he fought in his last fight on the Calz-RJ undercard.

He'll still probably beat Paulie, but he might struggle. He's badly declined.

In his younger 140 days, he would have blasted Paulie out.

agreed; zab would ko paulie imo. zab needs to be at 140. he could probably beat hatton too. the guy's upper-cut is deadly. sounds obvious, but if you can't take judah's punch you can't beat him. remember - he hurt pbf pretty bad. and to musze, corley hurt pbf badly too.

I think you fail to realize that Zab is declined from when he fought PBF. I think the Cotto beating took alot outta him. Plus he's no spring chicken anymore, he's 31.

We've yet to see what the Hatton fight did to Paulie.

Judah-Malignaggi at 140 would be a decent fight somewhere in New York next year.

I'm saying that you brought up the Floyd fight, which was 3 years ago. Zab has declined since then, its pretty obvious. His quickness and reflexes arent what they once were.

Absolutely, but Judah's name should be nowhere near Pacquiao's unless it's on the undercard of Manny's next fight.

The last Judah fight i saw was vs. Clottey...he was still dangerous in that fight for the first few rounds......if he doesn't KO Malignaggi early...he will take him to 12 rounds...

I'm not saying Zab still wouldnt beat Paulie, but I dont think he'd do so impressively at this point.

And I doubt the fight would be good. Paulie would just be looking to jab, and hold... and Zab no longer fights with the killer instinct he had years back.

I agree with that, but we'll see what happens with Hatton fight.

Arum loves feeding Judah to his fighters though.

    That's why I said decent.

I don't have real high expectations for it, but at least Judah took the Clottey fight seriously and gave his best effort.

I'm willing to see him again based on that performance, but preerably not against an elite fighter or at welterweight.

At junior welter, there's a few guys that need some HBO-name level opponents. If he can beat Malignaggi, who I don't consider that good, then there could be some use for him.

Considering the two sources (John Wirt of Square Ring, and Zab), I'd say it's one-sided wishful thinking. Wirt's already a proven liar, and Zab is... Zab

Zab employs about 3-4 leopard moves in which he ambushes his opponent into a violent and cunning shot. If these shots don't tame or KO his opponent, he usually loses though.

But at 140 he's much ore relaxed and his defense is excellent. This is where he should compete (see Zab vs. Witter, Quiroz, Ward).

Boxingtalk? Zab Judah? The two cannot be taken at face value when in the same item.

Zab going down to 140 wouldn't be good for him at his age and after so many beatdowns.

I was there at the fight and at the weigh in. Zab isn't smaller than PBF.

He also got his ass whooped by Mayweather, smaller man or not. Zab hasn't looked good in a real fight in years.

Pacquiao's fighting Hatton next, or maybe Mayweather.

the funny thing is that Zab would most problably KO him. too much size and strength. he punches harder then DLH and well he actually punches.
