http://mmajunkie.com/news/13543/bob-sapp-to-fight-anime-character-in-japan-on-new-years-eve.mma Regardless of this mockery, I gotta see this card. Alvarez and Aoki, and Hansen and JZ are gonna be awesome fights. TFK
:::: God I love Japs. The card is pretty good though. Even fights like HONG MAN CHOI Vs Cro Cop should provide some entertainment. Here's hoping Sapp gets hammered.
no shit Z :: ONLY in Japan:: But like said before, the card is pretty decent. I'll watch for sure. Does anyone know anything about the guy Gegard Mousasi is fighting?
It's funny watching the same dopes on Sherdog who blast everything the UFC does and kill Brock Lesnar every chance they get, praising this fight and making out to be anything but the mockery that it is. The whole 'if it happens in Japan it must be great' mindset confuses me, but it runs rampant over there. TFK
Yeah, Sherdog is funny that way. I must admit, I wish Pride was still around. I still think, there is a huge market in Japan that needs to be tapped into. I hope a promotion can get some momentum over there and start to compete regularily again. This K1 card definitely has some talent on it. I just think there is enough fighters and fans out there to support more than one organization. Japan loves some Sapp:: Next we'll see Hong Man Choi fighting Giant Silva:cheer:
Seriously, but you are right though the rest of the card is solid. What channels are broadcasting this card?
I don't know yet, first I have heard of it but I will probably try to get it free on the internet.artie:
I think the internet might be the only option, as from what I understand, HDNet will not be airing it. TFK
I figured so, just making fun of the record. When I was in Thailand, I watched a Muay Thai fight. Allot of the records were like 85-43-6:bangh:
Yeah, that's true. My teacher's teacher is Ajarn Burklerk, who apparently lost only 7 times in over 150 fights, and avenged all 7 of those losses.
