Last night they said that Richardson objected to how Marg's hands looked. Supposedly, Richardson said it looks too big for a wrap. My question is, are the opposing trainers not suppose to be in the room from the beggining of the wrap until the end? It seems Richardson came in after the wrap was over. Maybe that is why this hasnt been caught before.
So? He was not going to admit of something illegal. He is not stupid. But the fact that a commisioner took the wraps in a plastic bag as evidence pinpoints that indeed it wasn't just 'extra gauze'.
Well, if these were taken into evidence by the Athletic commission that should be the easiest way to clear this up. If we find out there was no illegal substance ON the wraps then Dean Louhis needs to be called out for being incredibly irresponsible. Why the head of the Athletic commission would run out and tell a story like this directly to the HBO talking heads minutes before a fight needs to be examined. Is this guy that deep in Golden Boys pockets he would do something like this? :dunno: If these wraps truly had plaster of paris on them they should be in the custody of the police right now.
The Only Problem Is, the COMMISSIONER of California is the 1 that Squealed on Margarito...The Commissioner is IN the Dressing Room OR Has a State Representative PRESENT, During Wrapping... The Commissioner SPECIFICALLY Told HBO that Margarito had an "Illegal Pad" N his Gloves..."Something that would HARDEN when WET. And that his Hands had to B REwrapped 3 Times"... Margarito's Damage Control Team is Trying to MINIMIZE this, but the Info Came from the Commissioner HIMSELF...It's NOT like Nazim or Some Anonymous "Source" Put it Out There.... REED:mj:
