What kind of fights do you think they'll put on? I'm thinking Mir/Lesnar will be on 100, and maybe BJ Penn/Kenny Florian for the LW title. I would like SIlva to move up to LHW and challenge for the belt against Rrashad probably. It would be cool if all titles were on the line.
I hope they pull out all the stops. All 4 belts on the line would be awesome. Crocop wanted a farewell fight, that would be a perfect one to put it on as well.
They should hang Chuck Liddell upside down and have kids hit him like a pinata. I'd pay to watch that.
Would you believe I meant 5?:: I was thinking four with the thought of Anderson moving up to fight Rashad, I know, doesn't make sense.
They got to have Anderson Silva in a big fight on that card if UFC is promoting him as P4P #1 in the world. It would make sense to have the winner of GSP-Penn as well, even if they aren't taking on a dangerous opponent.
All the Titles DEFINITELY Need to B on the Line, Unless Silva's Fighting for the Lightheavy Title... Maybe B.J. vs KenFlo & GSP vs. Pitbll Alves for Starters... REED is Torn a Bit...He's Not Sure if Rashad vs. Rampage Should B Pushed BACK to UFC 100 or Not...The Thing is, if they Fought Soooooner & Rampage WON, then Rampage-Silva would B PERFECT for UFC 100... Maybe they Could Sign Robbie Lawlor to Face Silva???...REED Would Throw Hughes vs. Serra on there as Well... Bottom Line, UFC 100 Needs to B THE BEST UFC PPV Card Ever... REED:mj:
They can't put all the titles on the line on 1 PPV because that would mean no title fights for months on the PPV's before and after. I think it would be a great idea, not just for 100, but for any future UFC PPV's, to put WEC Title fights on them. It would give the WEC some great exposure, as well as getting fighters like Miguel Torres a PPV payday. TFK
TFK has a great point about all the titles fighting. It would be really cool, but it would screw up the ppv's for a while after. And putting a WEC title or two on UFC PPV's would be sweet. I think Rampage/Rashad on UFC100 is a very do-able fight. Alves should be on it as well. It would be an awesome fight if we could get Alves and GSP. I can actually see them leaving Brock off the card, he seems a big enough draw on his own.
NNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
UFC 98 right now is supposed to be Lesnar-Mir, Hughes-Serra, and a great fight between Sean Sherk and Frankie Edgar. Also, James Irvin-Drew McFredries and George Roop-Dave Kaplan (perhaps the worst fighter in the UFC). That a hell of a card, and like all Memorial Day Weekend PPV's, I have to miss it since I'm camping every year. I know one friend of mine brings a portable DirectTV dish with him to keep his kids occupied, I wonder if that will pick up PPV's? That would actually be pretty cool sitting around the campfire watching UFC. TFK
It should work for PPV's TFK. Each account has a serial number for the receivers and is what they send the information too. The physical location shouldn't make a difference. As long as the Dish can pick up signal that is. on a side note, isn't it crazy that in today's age kids have to be kept occupied while "camping"? God forbid they fish, fly a kite, roast a hot dog, or fill in with 500 other activities.
a few years back cung le was supposed to fight gegard mousasi, i really hope k-1 or the ufc make this fight happen
Cung Le has 2 fights left on his strikeforce contract. He hasn't fought since Shamrock. He'll be retiring before his SF contract is up at this rate. UFC is interested in Cung I know that. Maybe they will buy him out of his contract? Strikeforce really needs Cung though, he's got a HUGE following in San Jose.
He's been trying for years. If he was ANY good, he would have done something major by now. I don't think his style of fighting is cinematic friendly either.
Cung is probably the laziest elite fighter out there. eventhough he has 2 fights left with strikeforce, I dont think he's restricted from fighting for other orgs. the lack of fights is probably the reason he's still in his prime at the age of 36, he's actually older than anderson silva and tito ortiz, shit.. he's the same age as frank shamrock.
