Arce could have pulled it off a few years ago, but not now.

Arce is nearing shotness, and unbelievably, Vic seems to have peaked after his brutal loss.

I hate Vic and I hate his style, but credit where credit is due, he looked very good against Mijares, the supposed master boxer.

I can't possibly see how Arce wins this fight. he gets hit way too much and Vic simply punches too hard.

    "However"

Based on what we've seen lately...

    Cotto-Margarito-Mosley

It's certainly possible it turns into Mijares-Arce-Darchinyan

For what it's Worth, Guys Generally Beat Arce w/BRAINS, Not BRAWN....Darchinyan Certainly ISN'T gonna Try to BEFUDDLE or OUTSLICK Arce, he's Gonna Try to TEAR his Head Off...

But that Also Gives Arce HIS Best Chance of WINNING...

Vic showed a different dimension against Mijares. he was patient and didn't blindly wade in. Arce's gotten tagged and cut up by lesser guys.

Basically how i see it. Also it wouldn't surprise me if Darchinyan goes extra KO crazy and head hunts with power shots the whole time.

That strategy could work, but also could backfire badly.

    Arce KO 11!

I know Arce has declined and Vic is peaking. But I am rooting so hard for Arce that I have to pick him on this one. :mj:

i agree with those who said Arce would've won easily a few years ago, which is probably why the fight never got made.

haven't seen Arce fight since losing to Mijares, but it sounds like he's lost a step or two. if he has, he might be susceptible to Vic's power. Arce's been at it a long time. wouldn't surprise me if he's "shot."

but i think throughout his career he's been the better boxer than Vic. the key to his winning will be to use Vic's aggression against him. that, and his body assault.

but unlike Vic, Arce has a defense. and he won't be at a height disadvantage like he was against Mijares which more than anything is why I think Mijares was able to handle him so well.

my official pick has to be Vic, but i'll be rooting for Arce bigtime.

Vic will destroy Arce who's too easy to hit. This will be good though because Arce can fight.

i like the way Vic walks into staight left hands and gets KTFO and then never mentions once a rematch.
