    NICE Response...

& GSP is Spot On when he Says the RE Will B the Same or even WORSE for BJ...It's almost as if BJ Is Complaining so he Can Get Another Big PAYDAY...

& AFTER GSP Waxes BJ Again, All the Guys CRYING about "Cheating" Will Realize how POINTLESS that Talk was...

I agree. Everything GSP said in that interview is accurate. The grease excuse is a way for BJ and his camp to rationalize the loss in a way that doesn't make BJ a lesser fighter. The bottom line is BJ just ran into the wrong guy, in the wrong weight class at absolutely the wrong time.

He needs move on and back down.

Exactly. REED, you are being a hypocrite. I don't want to hear anything about Margarito out of you if you're going to take this stance in regards to GSP.

There is nobody saying it mattered. Just that it was illegal and bad for the integrity of the sport.

:boohoo:That's just It...LOADING your Fucking Gloves DEFINITELY "Matters" & DEFINITELY has an IMPACT on Fights...So HOW is REED Being Hypocritical when Pretty Much Everybody AGREES that Vaseline DIDN'T Help GSP to Beat BJ???....

Unless GSP Fought w/LOADED 4 oz. Gloves, REED Can't See How U're Comparing the Situations....

if they managed to prove it's true, they should turn the win to a NC. As most peep said, it probably didn't mater, but still, it should be done to set a precedent. GSP should also be stripped of his purse.

Bear in mind that I don't know if the accusation have much ground, but since a comm said that GSP cornerman greased him ad that if they ever do that again, they'll be banned from Nevada forever, I think theyr is pretty solid evidence

Greasing can be really helpfull in grappling and it definitively gives you an edge, epecially if you're trying to avoid sub and pass guard as GSP was doing

Sure greasing matters. If it didn't matter it would be allowed. GSP cheated thats all there is to it.

Rules are rules REED. You either follow them or you don't.

Margarito TRIED to cheat, and didn't get away with it. GSP on the other hand actually got away with it.

It's just bad for the integrity of the sport.

    I like GSP.

And to echo the sentiment of others, he would have bludgeoned Penn anyway, that much is obvious.

But to echo another sentiment by others, cheating is cheating, and if GSP really was greased up on purpose (which seems to be the case) then he cheated, and should face the consequences.

There is a reason why greasing the body is not allowed, because it puts you at a pretty big advantage as far as escaping grapplers/BJJ guys.

Like Roy said, there's a reason why it's not allowed.
