Dana White actually said some nicer things about Fedor recently now that Fedor made a mockery out of 2 of Dana's former UFC heavyweight champions. He called Fedor 'definitely a top 5 fighter'.

what's with these mma guys throwing out f-bombs like they're going out of style. It's not even the fighters that do it that much, but guys like Dana White and Rogan and a few others. It's ridiculous, I know their target demographic is young middle class white males, but it is overboard. "He's this crazy fucking Russian guy, he will fuck you up from the ground." it's like grade 8 stuff.

I am with you, Gatti, I think Rogan and White are trying to play to what they think is their demographic. They probably truly think that is how the average UFC fan talks, so they are trying to be cool on that level. In reality, they sound like middle aged white dudes having a mid life crisis.
, i shouldve got used to it by now but for some reason i cringe when they swear. its not so much the swearing but the fact that it seems so forced. MMA appears to be even more ghetto than boxing. couldnt even imagine someone like don king swearing as much as white.
That's the reason I sh*t on the UFC and treat it as a sideshow as opposed to an actual professional sport. They've got a long way to go yet... I still watch it though but the way it's promoted just isn't good IMO. It's like they're marketing towards horny adolescent teens. Why else are they showing commercials in that same time slot like "Girls Gone Wild" videos and penis enlargement ads? :::laughing: It's made out to be a f*ckin' trashy sport the way they're running this thing.

I was thinking the same thing. I was thinking "what other athlete in history has had the respect of those athletes in the same sport?". Robinson immediately came to mind.
