The guy is in shape cardio-wise, loves to fight, and is a warrior.

He spars 9 hard rounds 4 times a week when he trains, and has plenty left at the end of the day.

It is his diet of Mexican food and beer that has him fat, bottom line.

Beer is fine to drink while training, no more than a couple, though.

Leon Spinks drank beer and eggs before his first fight with Ali to put on weight, and Jake LaMotta always had a couple of ales at night with a big steak and salad, Nino Benvenuti always had a couple of glasses of wine with dinner as well.

From what I hear, and I don't know Chris personally, he gorges on Mexican food (the best food in the world but also one of the most fattening) and that is why he is fat.

I don't know if he drinks beer while he is "in the gym" meaning in training-, but a couple is fine at night to relax, but perhaps he overdoes it, I don't know.

The best thing for Chris will be to take him up to Big Bear away from everything for 2 months before a fight and have him on a high protein diet, and then he'd be around 245.

I read a few days back that HBO refused Rahman as an opponent...but OKAY McCline....:notallthere::notallthere:....Rahman as shitty as he is..can still pull a fast one on Chuncky....HBO was just protecting their investment...

McCline is garbage....Arreola should beat him....I would be somewhat impress of Chris blows McCline out quick....i think it goes to a decision..and would not be SHOCKed if McCline won....doubtful though...

I don't mind the matchup. I think it's a good name and style to get on Arreola's resume.

Karl, was your input the main reason that Pacman improved so much do you think?

How short are memories, rahman has looked like dogshit for quite sometime, he barely threw a punch against klitschko, and is considering MMA - proof enough that he's done....Arreola-McCline is poor but no more rahman-is-still-dangerous rubbish please

Exactly, Rahman had the chance to be recognised as the man at hw once again but he had no intention to make any sacrifice to achieve it ( in and out of the ring ) and was in survival mode as soon as the first bell rang. If he only came for the payday in a fight where the stakes were so high that a win would have brought him renewed fame and a lot of $$$$$, why do you think he'll bother to try to win or train vs Arreola where a win basically gives him nothing ( it would only expose Arreola ). Rahman should never be on HBO again, at this stage of his career, it's very obvious he doesn't really care and just come in for the paycheck. He doesn't even have power anymore, he basically hit fucking Zulu Lawrence ( who came in as a late minute replacement and would have probably won with a real training camp ) with a billion soft telegraphed right hand and couldn't really stopped him, everytime he had him in trouble was more because of fatigue than anything else.

I always trust karl's perspective. I don't see much about this kid either but Karl gave some reasons for his opinion.

Mccline as I see it is very much a threat to Areola... I think with Mccline he is big enough to make it interesting with guys who would otherwise beat him into next week.

Illum... whatever your point may be Rahman is less of a threat than Mccline.

Karl told us why Arreola is fat, not why he's good though.

Im sorry but I think you're way off. McCline may be a pussy in a tough dudes body, but he's far closer to what constitutes a professional athlete and ranked boxer than Hasim Rahman is these days.

I think McCline would beat Rahman with ease and will provide a far sterner test for Tits than Rahman would as well. I actually have no real problem with this fight, other than McCline tends to make fights boring.

    Arreola by KO in 3.
Easy fight, sorry...I don't care how bad you guys think Chris is, he can hit, has a very good chin, and heart, everything you need to make easy work of Jameel especially at this stage in his career.

Well, regardless of what anyone thinks of Arreolla, there is one indisputable fact: since finding his way in the sport, NOBODY has made quick work of McCline, or essentially even came close to it.

And no one had KO'd Diaz before either, but it happened, and many predicted it.
Just cuz it hasn't happened or supposevely came close to it doesn't mean it won't happen.
No one has rushed McCline the way Chris will, nor with his power, as well.

Huh? You think Arreola is the biggest puncher McCline has faced? He's not. Also, when Arreola has fought guys with a decent chin his fights went longer.
