Unfortunately Rashad beats him. Which is gay, because as inconsistent as Rampage is etc, I've always liked him, since the pride days. And I hate rashad. It's hard to tell too much from the Chuck and Wandy KO's, all we know is Rampage is very powerful, but we pretty much knew that anyway. But in fights that went more than a matter of seconds - Griffin and Jardine - he looked shit. And Evans seems to be getting better and better, whilst Rampage looks, well I don't know. It's hard to say whether he looks shot or not, or if he's just extremely inconsistent.
He's been this way his whole career.Like I said in another thread, hes the Rasheed Wallace of MMA,they have the talent to be great but deep down they don't want to go that extra mile to be great.
I love BTG's comparison to Rasheed Wallace, perfect:: I agree that the longer this fight goes, it favors Rashad. Rampage is more powerful, his best shot is to come out guns blazin, lure Rashad into trading with him. If he does, he has a good chance of ending it with a ko win.
I really think that Rampage will win via KO. I think that Rashas is a little bit overconfident with his striking abilities lately. If he elects to stand and trade with Rampage due to this new confidence, I think he will be KO'd. It's either that of a boring decision for Rashad.
When has Rashad has outwork someone worth a damn ???? Never, he's far more economical than even the version of Rampage whe saw vs Jardine ( it seems everytime Rampage opened up with combinations, Jaridine was there to be hit and hurt, but surprisingly, he dind't do it a lot )
Jardine moved alot more than usual though. Just watched the fight Rampage looked good to me and he will look alot better when he fights Evans. But as far as that staredown though Rampage>>>>Evans Evans all nervous and shit lmao!! Rampage ain't scared of nobody
I thought Quinton "roadrage" Jackson won the fight pretty clearly, and Rashad didn't looked like a ball of fire vs Forrest, if Forrest didn't sliped, it seemed to me Sugar was heading toward a wide decision loss.
Rampage was limping after all those leg strikes. Griffin deserved to win that night. It happens sometimes. That's what makes MMA so interesting.
It was close, but honestly I thought Forrest won. And I was rooting for Jackson, and thought he would win easily. Forrest just did more, and did a lot of damage with the leg kicks. And Azazel - I agree, Evans looked crap, and he would have lost a clear decision if not for the KO. But ultimately he DID KO Forrest, and that's the result that matters.
Doesn't change the fact that he lost to Forrest and just barely beat Jardine. He's not on "another level" like you claim, not even close. If he was, he would have blown those two out. He couldn't.
