fuck Kaulki and his girlfriend Double L.

Hopkins is a throwback to an era when every fighter, even the cuties like the sugar man had to fight at all distances, had to deal with craftiness, knowledge of the craft and had to deal with a fighter who would try to win for the duration of the fight any way possible.

Hopkins inside fighting is an art that is being lost as guys refuse to engage there and then cry like Kaulki when they get engaged at that distance. Hopkins knowledge of the game is how fighters used to fight when a fight was 15 rounds and you had worked with a guy who really knew the sport and not buddy Mcgirt here drink some water!

And though it pains me to say this we should not fuck with this thread... i.e. I was joking, but I hope the Stinger catches double and punches him in the nose!

real classy and noble - make fun of people with drug problems. you seem to know quite a bit about the topic. my guess is heroine just happens to not be your drug of choice. not that it's mine.

i don't know why you keep harping on the topic. it was something long in my past. you think you're offending me with references to it? or embarrassing me? no. all you're doing is signaling to me that you have no answer for my arguments regarding boxing. that's when you resort to personal insults and attacks. and it shows you have the mentality of a 10 year old.

and to this day i don't understand the obvious contempt you have for me. i can't remember who - maybe it was cdogg - said i could write it up to jealousy. he just might be right whether he was joking or not.

In my case, I'm noticing others not addressing the post, and exasperating like they've been stabbed in the heart? :dunno: I cant laugh about it because it's not funny for those tormented individuals to be locked into that insidious pattern of thinking,.. I seem to have unintentionally hurt certain posters with my expression of the pain Hopkins causes me as a fan of 'clean boxing',.. and they pop up and...I guess...feel the need to 'get some'... ..by.. posting what I understand is... 'insulting content'.. but ofcourse,... it's not easy for me to absorb the literal material as I'm automatically fixated on the engineering of how the words came to be,...just like I can't help but 'see' the illegal engineering of Hopkins style. It is frustrating that collectively,.. they cant see the philosophy as to why Hopkins is a bad sector for boxing, and if 'foreign undesireables' possessed the same illegal tactics to shut down fights against beloved American warriors,... I am of the belief that the hideous head of hypocrisy, would pop up in SPECTACULAR fashion.

To answer that question you have to understand Neil's own psychological issues Double. Lets just say they are pretty obvious. He is an accident waiting to happen, here is a short list:

    1) Neil has an unnatural fascination with women he percieves as whorish, dirty.... Sometimes called a madonna whore complex. I feel sorry for any women that becomes an object of neil's fascination.... He already shows obsessive tendencies this way, when my wife was stripping Neil was the kind of guy that would spend quite a bit on entertainment and then go home to his wife and talk about all those whores.... seriously guys like this can be a bit unstable.

    2) Neil is a stalker. we know he went out of his way to find out info about some members here. That shows the obsessive component to his behavoir wich is why I say he might be a bit of a danger. I would not want to be on his list this way. It wouldn't suprise me if Neil stalked a few girls who he percieves as beneath him (whores).

    3) Neils need o try to get a reaction from this behavoir is really disturbing. Its funny because for example a guy like Maverick who some people percieve as somoene who would say anything to anyone actually exerscizes a lot of judgement in who and how he insults... for example he has never said anything that is truly insulting or rude to me and he manages to mention my wife in posts on occasion.

Neil, on the other, hand tries desperately to insult and ridicule and generally cause other members whom he percieves as beneath him to react negatively to his posts. This fact is often obfiscated because Neil also has a great sense of humor and is a knowledgable poster and boxing fan.

Some of Hops recent fights were very boring. However he is a genius in the ring. He will take away his opponents best weapon and make his opponents look clueless.

A rose being a rose sounds like,.. rules being the rules,...?,.. but it is convenient for Hopkins groupies to 'let it all ride'.... then turn around 180 degrees and cry about felonies possessed by other fighters, like Wlad's holding for example,...? You know if Wlad was deducted points for holding, and was forced to block and counter-punch offensive pressure the way your supposed to,.. there would be a LUCIOUS chance,.. of seeing him knocked out again,... but... the 'Hopkins precedent' ...allows Wlad to chronically hold, exploit the lack of rule enforcement and survive,...ensuring himself... years of pure, unregulated, dominance upon the heavyweight division over American contenders, again and again and again, eventually he may surpass the number of Hopkins middleweight defences.... that'd be nice and ironic.

    :crafty: Funny you say that,...because,........

Bernard admitted to loading his hands more or less, stating "it's only cheating if you get caught"...and in his words "gave away some things" by telling us how to harden tape in ice water,...

...........as for Wlad,...well,... I dont like the way he kept his left glove on after the Brewster rematch,.. :nono: ...that was wierd,..took the right glove off,...but kept the left one on?....

Well, particularly in America, based on her entertainment values, there is a ..."righteous leniency" on celebrities if they do illegal things, so in kind, you cant really blame posters for having trouble comprehending any form of wrong-doing amongst it's pop-star fighters either,....

For fans of G.W Bush, Dick Cheney and Paul Wolfawitz, this tally should bring a tear to the eye,.. to have the 'freedom' to hold out your arm like a German protectionist, and collectively scream,.. "DOWN WITH REGULATION SYSTEMS"...in the midst of this global economic crisis... the fightbeat mob, have spoken.

    Heil Hopkins.

Precisely. His greatness is not how he looks in the ring but how his opponents do not look. He makes the best fighters look weak by taking away their strengths.

Hopkins was and is the fucking man. He's a legand and one of the best MW's ever. If you can't appreciate Hopkins, you should probably take up knitting or basket weaving or something equally as feminine.

Now a better question would be, is anyone impressed by Double L's stinky posting?

We're all entitled to our opinions. In my opinion, Hopkins' style is not entertaining, it's dirty, shows contempt for the sport, and as a result is not as good as his resume suggests.

This decade, Hopkins simply isn't exciting. But his record speaks for itself.

It's not that he's such a fantastic fighters as it is that he is soooo supremely confident that his CONFIDENCE allows him to win fights based mostly on that.

His conditioning, longevity, chin and defense are definitely legendary though.

His ring generalship exposes how many of today's best fighters are rushed towards greatness without experiencing the diversity of style and skill challenge even an old guy like Hopkins offers (not that he's just any old guy), its not like he's still a peak athlete..that said, he has perfected a very negative style which may be legal but is not entertaining, and its hard to watch and admire a stinker regardless of his legacy

Now that is the best way you could have said it.
If Double L could have just said it this way, I am sure there would be nothing to argue about, whether or not you love Hopkins and like his style or not, this is how you tell it, right there.

I have nothing against Hopkins fighting in circles, or feinting,..I also dont mind a little backpeddling,... but everything ''crafty'',..appears to stem from blatantly illegal impliments as I've pointed out,.. and that appears to be a thorn in everybodies side,..like being 'unpatriotic' for objecting against the invasion of other countries,... Im not going to be 'censored' because my irrefuteable opinion on breaking the rules, is unpopular,... it is rather frustrating and perhaps even unprecedented in general sports,.. for a participant, to be 'glorified' for deviously straying away from the code of conduct that is abided by most.

That is The truth with a capitol T! And that is why Hopkins is so important. If he was such a horror then he should be beaten. Even when the judges try to beat him he shows that todays guys are seriously lacking in their depth of applications and in the craft of the Sweet Science.

Ruiz was beaten but just to compare (only for a moment as Hopkins is the real deal and Johnny sucks) Ruiz sticks around by the grace of how bad the division really is. If he was fighting in the heyday of Frazier Ali, etc he would not win a fight
