Kimbo Slice vs. The Pit Bull...in a boxing ring.

    That'll "save" the sport.

"With boxing, you can have a fight on Monday and if you are well you can have another fight the following week. Before the month is out, you would have already fought on several cards. In MMA, whether you are well or not, there is a six-week waiting period before you can engage in any other battle."

This glass chinned chump is trying to milk his name still. He's going nowhere in boxing. No hope in hell.

He's talking more about promotions and money. There are a lot of boxing cards happening all over the place. MMA basically has "events" like Wrestlemania. (at the top level)

He's moving to boxing? There are a few guys in MMA that haven't knocked him out yet! I thinks he's a joke but maybe he'll give old man Mercer a rematch!

That's about THE ONLY Boxing Match Featuring Kimbo that REED would B "Interested" in...Or Maybe Kimbo vs. Butterbean...But Considering how Kimbo REACTED to that "Punch" that Petruzelli Landed, he WON'T Fare Any Better N Boxing...

The QUALITY of that Half-Assed, DEFENSIVE, NO LEVERAGE "Punch" that Petruzelli ICED him w/DOESN'T Bode Well for Kimbo's Future N Boxing...Kimbo Slice was a Glorified BAR FIGHTER....

The guy has no chin even with the beard.
If he boxed, he'd have to shave it. He'd get wobbled with the first jab that landed on his chin.

Kimbo probably thinks he can put together a Toughman type career, like Butterbean.

I think he might do ok in those things. You get enough experience and just maybe you can successfully box 4-rounders against Butterbean's leftovers.[IMG]

some of us were calling this guy shit before he ever got wobbled in MMA

I remember PLENTY OF IDIOTS ON THIS SITE claiming that this guy would "kill Chris Byrd"

I cant wait to see this idiot get knocked out a few times

I had arguments with a lot of people around here about Kimbo and how he'd fare against the pros, and the fact is that those of us ripping this guy as nothing special were the MINORITY

    Actually I don't!

Steve Dave is a tall, gangly, somewhat-unmarketable, fragile thing and I'd like to see him in against someone like, maybe Hegman first, before I'd throw him in with the likes of Kimbo.

His current lack of brain damage is what keeps these forums going.

No not exactly, but in order to be more marketable he'd have to be more of a villain. Basically a real jerk that people want to see lose.

At least to start out. The over hyped "honest hard working white guy" is played out. He would need a bit more arrogance and asshole to him. I'd match him with obviously overmatched and more importantly undersized guys.

Not only smash those flyweights, but brag about it. :bears:
