As a 'rules junkie'.. Im fine with a life-time ban,.. infact, a life-time ban is getting off too easily,.. he could have put his opponent in the cemetary.

It's interesting though,..that the most keen observers of these developments, are groupies of Tito Trinidad,.. who should be out on his arse with him, crying in each others arms,.............but instead we'll have a celebrated monthly thread and a poll, about which fighter did Tito ruin worse?.. what a bastard! I will always be grateful for Mosley. He gave Marge the beating of a lifetime and exposed him as a cheater. Thanks Nazim too, even though you helped Hopkins beat Trinidad. :partie:

The 'hard' material (was it?) was covered by gloves.
I am still skeptical as to how much of a difference, if any, this would make.
Resto is different--that's removing padding to get to harder surface (taped hand).

This is a filthy unregulated corrupt 'republican' sport,..and I seriously doubt an 'example' will be made of Margarito, enough to deterr other 'Trinidad's' from doing similar things..

Putting somethign in the glove is bad, but not as bad as removing the padding in the glove.

I just don't agree. One has padding, the other has none. It's fine if nobody agrees with me.

It's alright,.. fightbeat only has 1 agreeable consensus on the rules of boxing it seems,.. and that is that you can't load your gloves if you are a Mexican, if you are a Puerto Rican, and you are caught loading your gloves, it means you've just got unatural god-given power prior to being caught,..you also cant load your gloves if you embarassed Floyd and hurt his feelings 3 years ago.

 This is where the angles of 'disgust' are induced from,... as you dont see this kind've consistancy in the direction of the rose-coloured Bernard Hopkins who has just outright admitted that he hardens his tape in ice-water and his personal philosophy on it is that "it's only cheating if you get caught". So ah, welcome to my world,.. no one agrees with me either.. :crafty:

Trinidad's "Issue" was Related to the Amount of GAUZE & TAPE...There WASN'T a Hardened INSERT Found in Each of his Handwraps...

    DIFFERENT Circumstances...

Richardson noticed that Don Felix was putting layers of tape and then gauze, tape and then gauze, tape and then gauze which is not in accordance with NYSAC rules. The rules stipulate tape cannot be applied directly over the knuckles, and that repeating the process several times (is not permitted).
In an interview with Bernard Fernandez of Philly.com, Hopkins said, "If you put on tape, then gauze, then tape, then gauze, it's like a [plaster] cast. It's like being hit with a baseball bat. I'm giving out some secrets here, but you can dip your hands in ice water and that tape will, like, marinate and become harder. But it's only cheating if you get caught.

You gotta love this ^.. a piece of art exposing two birds with the one stone.

Just via that description,.. excess tape, ontop of tape, again, and again, and again,... that should form somewhat of a 'brass knucks' ridge,.....

Im all for eliminating these sort of bastards from the game,... but... carry on Reed,.. be sure to add your contribution to this month's,.. "Who's career did Tito ruin the worst?" ..thread.. :crafty:

Whats even more fucked up was the commission signed both wraps before Mosley corner man even showed up to watch his hands wrapped.
