I can't see Silva losing to Leites at this point, unless he is overconfident and comes in ill prepared.

I cannot for the life of me see Shogun beating Chuck. Bad style matchup for Rua. Shogun needs to go find an organization out there that allows stomps and soccer kicks , because without those he is verrry average.

Leites looks good, but he hasn't really beat anybody.

Apparently Liddell has brought in a bunch of new trainers, including Howard Davis, to help him on things like striking defense, groundwork, etc. Maybe he's finally realized that the sport is evolving quickly, and what worked for him 4 years ago isn't good enough to work for him today.

If Liddell wins convingly, watch for the push to a Liddell\Anderson Silva superfight at 205.

Chuck better stay away from Anderson Silva. Everything that Chuck does other than TD defense,...Silva does much better.

Not saying that White and the UFC aren't moving in that direction.....but that would be a total mismatch at this point.

TFK, is brilliant. Of course, that is what the UFC would love. Milk another ppv out of Chuck, give him as fodder to Anderson at 205 making him look that much greater. Anderson would look like the P4P king, yet not fighting anyone of significance since Henderson.:bangh:

this is actually a pretty good card. It has some douchebags I'd like to see get ko'd: Cantwell, Herman and Vince Maghalaes. Quarry vs. herman should be a good fight and Kongo vs. Hardonk is a legit HW contender fight. Then a crossroads fight between Rua vs. Liddell, and Silva trying to make history.

Yeah, that was as legit as boxing selling Billy Zumbrun as a KO threat to Vitali Klitschko, because of his awesome striking. Well tomatoes come from the Netherlands, why not tomato cans.:lol:

Kongo is too. He's got no chance of beating any of the better heavyweights in the UFC.

people were saying Shogun ain't fuckin shit up. The Magnificent Serb was one of the few that predicted a dominant win for Rua.

Well he didn´t look too hot, but +550 on Rua by KO against a 39 year old chinny never was good, nobody can pass that up, when Rua outright is +160. That´s like getting +160 on Ottke outright, and +550 on Ottke on points. Like he´ll win any other way.:lol:

Of course I am. He doesn´t do anything, but Leites won´t win a round on any scorecard, although he should have the 2nd round easily.

Silva, for the 2nd fight in a row, just looks disinterested.

He will be so disgusted with himself, he´ll go two extra rounds with a sparring partner afterwards. Rogan is truly the greatest BS artist on the mic.

sorry, but after having Rogan telling us that cote-Silva was exciting ( and some tools here believing him ), my detection of sarcasm is unexistant

I think it was obvious that Silva could have put Leites out whenever he wanted. Why didn't he? I don't know, but it seemed pretty apparent that he was toying with Leites almost the entire fight. Silva looked upset that Leites wasn't engaging him with anything, but ultimately I think he is completely disinterested in fighting fighters like Leites and Cote. He was clowning around and doing some things in there that he wouldn't have done against a better opponent. His skills were there, but for whatever reason, he didn't want to knock Leites out. Maybe in Silva's mind there was no need, he dominated without trying. I wish he would have though.

I just don't think Silva wanted to take any unecessary risk as he was winning so easily. If Leites made any huge mistake he would have been KO'd. I guess lucky for him he didn't, but he looked happy to just go the distance. Pretty stinky fight yet i still thought Anderson looked good even though he didn't go all out.

It will be a long time before we see Leites anywhere near a main event on PPV. According to Rogan he won a world title in that Brazilian man humping sport. He should go back to that.

nah, imo, silva is very poor at fighting an opponent who doesnt engage. his standup is limited to counter punching
