Mayweather should either fight Pacquiao (after a tune up or two) or stay retired. No other options should be acceptable for him.

its definitley bigger than Pea/Chavez because those guys were both starting on the downside of their careers (Chavez moreso) where as Pac and Mayweather are still very much at a point where its difficult to imagine anyone beating them

its biggher than Roy/JT as well because JT had scraped by in fights (Tiberi and Johnson, for example) and Roy, while clearly recognized as a major talent hadnt had any huge victories name-wise yet

We need to get rid of Mayweather then get back to square one.

Hatton may not have the desire to get back in to the top flight now but of he does, he needs a better trainer than Monkey Mayweather.

Not really. Styles make fights. Marquez had the brain and the skills to give Manny fits.

Manny is much more suited to beating Floyd than Marquez is, as great as Marquez is.

I still can't believe Manny just WALKED through hatton like that. Unbelievable.

Manny is simply not the same fighter he was a few years ago, he is obscenely better.

Mayweather? I thought Hatton would shorten his punches..come in w/ straighter punches...put he did none of that...it's not Mayweather fault...Hatton old trainer could have been in there tonight...could have trained him..same outcome...

Looking at the replay, he TIMED him PERFECTLY. Waited for him to committ his jab, coming into range, threw right hand jab range finder, then threw left hook on the BUTTON.

Well I've said for a while Pacman is the fastest fighter in boxing, because he is. Fastest hands, fastest feet, brilliant reactions and head movement.

Some fools (mIKE) claimed Floyd is faster.

What I say to that is watch a few rounds of Floyd vs Oscar and Hatton, then watch Pacman Vs Oscar and Hatton.

Both Oscar and Hatton looked like they were fighting in slow motion against Pacquiao, the difference wasn't as drastic against Floyd.

You have a point. At the higher weights it seems Manny's speed is more of an asset than ever, against bigger, slower opponents than his featherweight days.

Manny would be lightning fast compared to this version of Mosley yes.

pac is a great accurate puncher. doesn't even have to be a good finisher considering he does everything well plus he packs heat in both his fists. great win. i still hate him though.

I'd like to thank all of the pussies here that PICKED Pacquaio but wouldn't BET me on the fight. Your lack of balls really saved my bank account. Thank you!

Caligula, like I asked before, were you seriously that confident of Hatton beating Pacman? Surely not?

What are the odds that Floyd will bitch out of a Pac fight? Seriously, I doubt he's man enough to want any part of this monster.

    That is a good analogy.

It will happen allright, most likely late winter, or early 2010 as Floyd is going to give JMM a good drubbing in July.

Round 1 Manny feeds Hatton a knuckle sandwich.

    Round 2 Ricky eats it.

I hope Manny Pacquiao can fit Miguel Cotto(if he beat Clottey) in his schedule before he goes on to fight Mayweather for the undisputed P4P KING title...

Honestly, high. Floyd doesn't want a beating, he just wants to pay his taxes etc.

Pacman is a monster, a beast that laughs at the mere notion of weight classes.

I don't know why you would want that. Manny would give Cotto a beating.

    Mosley stands a better chance.

Lets get it right Floyd would give Pac hell. He has a GREAT RIGHT HAND. Nobody without a great right hand is gonna do shit to Manny. Just like i told you clowns before the fight. This was nothing more then an expensive tune up for Manny. Hatton is absolute garbage.
