I agree, what a dumb fight for Cotto to take. This fight has disaster written all over it, Clottey is going to beat ass.

Damn that was an exciting fight for as long as it lasted. This is what boxing is all about. 2 gladiators getting in their putting it all on the line. Congrats Pac-man for putting on a show for the 2 rounds and I hope Hatton is doing good. Good shit. I'll Holla 5000

Do you guys think Caligula is okay? He lost a lot of money today, I feel bad for him.

What made the Marquez fights difficult for Manny is Juan staying in the pocket, countering and not allowing Manny to get off power shots, once they traded, it's Marquez on floor or losing rounds.

We'll see what effect, if any, the layoff had on Floyd, but he is a lot faster than Marquez.. , but I have a feeling Floyd will attempt to LEAD with Manny, perhaps too soon.

Floyd had MAJOR problems with Hatton until the check left hook. Manny EASILY disposed of Hatton early. But should I say the old boxing truth about boxing and styles?

I didn't even catch that. The only think i made out Sr saying was that you can't just rush in, and that you have to move your head.

I think Floyd Sr. is a bit to full of himself as a trainer, but i don't think anybody could have done much better with him. Too old and too one dimensional to make enough changes at that point.

The problem is on another level when you are up against a beast like Manny.

Your faggot hero Floyd Fairyweather would get his pussy ripped apart, LOK. There's a reason Fagweather ducks any decent challenger. Now his overrated resume looks worse and worse. P4P best my ass!

OMG I just saw a clip of the KO, it looked like a video game knockout! A one punch ko right on the chin, Hatton dropped like a sack of potatoes.

Hanz you're my boy, and I like you, but shouldn't we feel bad for Caligula? He lost a lot of money and I feel that his hero being destroyed like this might have a bad effect on him mentally.

Let's let bygones be bygones and hope for the best.

I can't quite remember and I missed the last one, but does anyone remember them showing Hatton doing any sparring on the HBO 24/7's?

You would think they would find some confusion from Hatton in the sparring. Makes me wonder if some teams go in knowing they're going to lose but say hey, we got a pay check coming so fuck it.

Either that stream or my computer was shit. I kind of saw it but the shit would stop and reload every few seconds, so I saw a horrible bootleg version of it.

Hatton isn't really his boy. Caligula's just riding it because he's pro-British and just humps anything that's related to Britain. Cal deep in his heart knew that Hatton's talent level isn't above Pacquiao's. He was drunk as f*ck when he was posting all this Hatton loving BS.

No fucking shit. That was a SCARY performance. A guy that fast who carries his power through weight classes like it doesn't matter. An absolute freak of nature.

    The Genius DEMONRY!!

Can't see a crow thread yet so I'll do this here. I picked Hatton. Pac was sharp as ever tonight and Ricky never looked a chance.

First comment made when the fight started: 'Why the fuck does Ricky still have his hands low?' I hadn't seen any of the 24/7 stuff but I'd assumed he'd at least tried to address the faults in his game.

Big props to Manny Pac. He's a special fighter. I hope this points out to some of the guys and boxing fans in general that a loss on your record does not mean career over. I haven't seen much of Manny but I will be watching every chance I get now. He is going to be one of the greatest in this game when he is done.

As for Ricky? I don't think his career is over but he may have gone as far as he can echelon wise. No shame, he's been a world champion but his glaring flaws have now been exposed twice (both by exceptional fighters) and he can only regress from here in my opinion. He's still great for boxing.

Glad I got a chance to see this. This is why big fights need to be made.

Now I get to go watch my favorite AFL team get hammered by the best side in the competition.

Fair enough, I know that, but what I mean is deep down were you really that confident of Hatton beating Pacman?

You flash Southern cunt! I called out EVERYBODY and offered them odds they'd never see in any casino and NO ONE stepped up to take that money?

That was how low the confidence was in Pac going into the fight.

I lost a lot of money? Fuck No! Everyone pulled an "Alabama Woman" and sidestepped my bet.

That's why i'm still here. No matter what was done or said there is NOT ONE PERSON HERE ON FIGHTBEAT that was confident enough to bet on pacquaio. NOT ONE!

Man! I'll bet Hatton's jaw is broken.

Anyway, I would give Manny a slim chance of beating Floyd too, but only because Floyd's chin would be very undependable. Usually I'd take the great boxer over the great puncher, but Floyd's chin kind of brings the odds down to a more equal setting IMO. I'd still favor Floyd though.

I even think Cotto would do pretty good against Pac. I definitely wouldn't see him getting bowled over like Hatton. Cotto really impressed me in the Mosley fight in the way he dealt with the speed of a guy who really didn't know the science the way Cotto apparently did. I'd favor Manny in that one though.

I guess Merchant couldn't see Hatton's condition when he said "Let's see if Ricky could beat the count."

He was comatose, gone, stretched, eyes circling to one side, stationary, stopped.

Let's discuss the fight a bit. What did you think of Pacquaio's performance? And what did you think of Hatton's inability to fend off Pacquaio's attack? Hatton sure was easy to hit it seemed. Same punch landing repeatedly.
