Apparently he is. I don't think Hatton is a good fighter.

    So do I.

So, like me, you can clearly see that Hatton hasn't been at his peak for a while.

Hatton IS borderline shot. MWS, myself and others said so ages ago. To bring it up now, though, looks like excuse making so I haven't done so because there are NO excuses for that result last night. Manny is a once-in-a-generation fighter, and deserves ALL the credit he gets IMHO.

I have a very, very long history of telling it like it is. The way I see it. I'm not making excuses for Hatton.... I picked Pacquiao, and like Free Ike, really believed he needed to win for the good of boxing.

I just find it important to call it like I see it all the time. I've been around for long enough that my objectivity shouldn't be questioned.

I saw a man who won 45 times without losing @ 140 get brutalized by the guy who deserves credit.
What was your prediction for last nights fight?

    Pacquiao by late stoppage.

Matchup, you're picking the wrong guy to start some shit with. And when I said m'man, I wasn't being sarcastic. That's what I say to my buddies.

Well you're quoting several of my posts after the fact, and at least one of them (the Santa Cruz post) you didn't reply the day I wrote it. Because you and I both know that if Oscar has anything left, he gives a better account than David Diaz. If you don't want to admit that, fine.

Ricky Hatton is a completely different situation because he was never an Oscar-level fighter. I was humiliated for picking Tszyu over him (I didn't factor in the fact that the rules of boxing wouldn't be followed), but since then he's been exactly what I thought he was.

I admit I expose your wishy washy pick and your wish pick under your split personality and whichever comes out better , you declare the winner.

Your real pick was akin to a monkey throwing shit at the fight's promo poster board.

Your Chinus Hedgimuch "pick" was your usual hateful desire, but not really a pick at all.

Your real pick was as good as a flip of a coin.

And he is wrong. N reasonable person can suggest I picked Hatton. In fact, the ONLY misgivings I had was LOK and Double Loser picked Pacman, but still I held firm.

I didn't reply because they are ludicrous comparisons to begin with. I disagree with you on the DLH-Diaz-Pac debate, Diaz is a southpaw like Pac and styles make fights. Diaz obviously being the biggest and only Southpaw Pac faced from 130-135.

I picked Tszyu over Hatton as well and to be honest I couldn't watch that fight again. I like Hattons fans, they are very spirited and some of the best IMO.

I don't dislike pacquaio. I can't claim to be a big fan of his since he destroyed one of my favorite fighters, twice. nonetheless he is a great fighter and his victory last night legitimized him in the superlightweight/welterweight divisions.

I simply wasn't a believer in him above super featherweight because he had never done anything to prove he was legit there.

I said repeatedly that delahoya was finished, couldn't make welterweight and would lose to ANY decent fighter there. I figured he would beat pacquaio because pacquaio wasn't a decent welter. pacquaio has now proven otherwise. twice. crushing hatton must rank as his best or second best career victory.

Fair enough. Is it Morales or Barrera that you like?

Morales is one of my all time favourite fighters, but I was already a Pacman fan before they even fought the first time, so although the 2nd and 3rd fight are tough to watch, I love me some Pacquiao.

In fact he has been my favourite active fighter for a while, by quite a long way.

    Morales.

I do like pacquaio, it just has happened that he has been facing off some of my favorite fighters in morales and marquez. Pacquaio has always been a good guy though and has proven me wrong on several occasions in the ring.

I was a big Morales fan too. One of his best wins was beating Pac the first time. But then lost two straight in the rematches.

I like Pac but I'm not a fan of his.
