Could have been done at multiple weights, i just picked 135 so deal with it instead of bringing up "If it was @ 126, 130, 140, 128 and 3/4 pounds ...

    Who wins?

Manny by knockout. As great as he was, Arguello did get hit a lot and his reach and timing would not overcome Pac's edge in speed

Manny would have some difficulty since Alexis has a style similar to JMM. But I think Alexis is less fluid, but has more power than JMM. Either way I think Manny wins by UD or stoppage late like Pryor.

That's how I see it.Arguello seemed to have trouble with fighters that were out of the ordinary and Pacquiao and Pryor are just that.

Yeah Pryor and Pacquiao are swarmers who can overwhelm even the most sound defense.

Damn good matchup. Arguello was awesome. I think Manny wins on Points with his handspeed but Arguello had a great chance. Arguello had the best looking punches I have ever seen.

Could have gone either way, simply because they're both so explosive. Arguellogot hit alot, sure...but it took some some 40 odd minutes of Aaron Pryor's fists to finall yput Alexis away and he'd been in with a multitude of punchers in his career up to that point.

Manny isn't likely to stop Arguello within 12, but he might win a decision. If anyone got stopped in this one, it's Manny.
