What did he say. Seriously, I can't understand him. I don't speak Grand Rapidian Ghettoian. From what I could understand, he was selling Ricky out. Ricky deserves it. Why he hired that shitbag is beyond me.

Hatton would've lost no matter who trained him. He just ain't good enough. The only clean punches he even managed to land were in the clinch when he managed to wrap his arm around Pacquaio's and hit him on the side of the head till the ref broke it up.

Mayweather is an idiot...thinking he could turn a mauler into pernell whitaker.....he really believes that Hatton could swap punches with Manny from the outside

No....Mayweather wasn't training Hatton to fight from the outside and going by the fight that was never a plan.....how you came to that conclusion?

Hatton tried to get inside..he trying his usual jump in punching, CLINCH technique..but Pacquiao was tooo fast he ws out of there before the clinch came and was countering...

Hatton wasn't trying to fight from the outside...:nono:

    Exactly...

If Anything, Hatton was Toooooooooooooo AGGRESSIVE & Aside from the 2nd Knockdown of Round 1, EVERY Shot that Manny Hurt Him w/was a COUNTER...Hatton was INTENT on Outmuscling Pacquiao, he TRIED to Get Inside (Even AFTER Being Dropped TWICE & Visibly Hurt 2-3 Additional Times) & Paid the ULTIMATE Price for his Trangressions...

Floyd's Getting a BAD Rap Here...He WASN'T Trying to Turn Hatton into a "Cutey", he was Trying to Make Hatton Attack SMARTER than he has in the Past (JABBING his Way in Instead of the Telegraphed LUNGES, MOVING his Head, etc)...But 1nce Hatton Got into the Ring, he REVERTED Back to his Old Habits...

Floyd made perfect sense...He tried to explain to Ricky the importance of head movement and keeping his hands up. Ricky was probably to arrogant to listen. He comes off that way to me even if he is a nice guy.

N btwn Rounds, Hatton Looked SHELL SHOCKED from that 1st Round Drubbing he Took...Most of the Time was Spent Trying to REVIVE him (Ice Bag on the Head, Splashing Water on his Face)....Floyd DID Give him Sound Advice, but Hatton Didn't Appear to B Taking it In...

Also, there's Rumors that Hatton was PISSED @ Floyd for Always Being LATE to Training Sessions, so that Could've Contributed...

Its no fault of Sr's. Ricky just didnt have the tools to fuck wit Manny. Aside from Manny just being on a higher class than Hatton... Manny's style was all wrong for Ricky, and I dunno why all those who picked Hatton couldnt see that.

The Collazo fight shoulda been all the evidence needed of why Ricky was bound to get stopped in this fight. He sucks against southpaws... shit Eamon Magee hurt him years ago. He especially cant see southpaw hooks coming, as Callozo hit him at will with them. Manny is faster than Collazo, and with more power... it was all academic.

INdeed, Hatton looked good in that fight, and as amazing as it sounds, he looked good vs Pacquiao also. The game plan was clear, outmucle Manny in the inside/clinch and he was doing that and had some minor sucess too. He just couldn't handle Manny power and was letting his hands down way too much. Something Sr warned him aboutg. I would't put this loss on Floyd Sr shoulder.

in between rounds floyd sr shouted: "you shoulda listened to me from day one!" i'm sorry, but it's unforgivable for a trainer to come out with such pointless, demoralising, blame-game crap when ricky's just been knocked down twice and needs help fast. floyd's words were designed purely to make himself look good, even at the moment when hatton - the guy who's paying him - needs him most. if ricky isnt listening, ok; but to start cheerleading for yourself at such a time, that's grotesquely unprofessional. no coach with any class would do something so childish.

ricky would've lost clearly whoever was training him, but nonetheless floyd was out of order. a trainer's supposed to inspire between rounds; floyd did the precise opposite.

Why Oh WHY Would U Expect "Class" or "Professionalism" from Floyd Mayweather Sr., ROOSTER???...:dunno:...When has he EVER Exhibited those Qualities???...MORESO, when has Floyd Sr. EVER Come Across as Anything LESS than HIS OWN Biggest Fan???...

He's Said/Done SIMILAR Things in the Corners of DeLa AND his Own Son, but their Situations WEREN'T as DIRE as Hatton's was....REED Doesn't Have Much of a Problem w/what Floyd Said Because it's CONSISTENT w/Who he's Been ALL ALONG...

I wonder if some of these people have seen the fight.

Hatton fought the same way he has in every fight since Tszyu.

Shuffling around a bit, then coming forward behind a leaping left hook or leaping jab, rushing in grabbing, getting a few body shots in, holding and hitting etc.

He tried the EXACT same thing with manny, but manny was too fucking fast, too accurate, and too powerful, and almost knocked hatton's head off.

He was coming forward trying to outmuscle manny, just like he does in all his fights, Floyd Sr didn't change a thing.

Makes you laugh more now when remembering the story of Floyd Jr throwing his Dad's ass out of the house, taking his car away too. Sr's like "How could a son do that to his old man"?

God ... it's painful listening to Mayweather speak.

How the fuck can mush mouth train anyone? I get a headache just trying to understand what the fuck he's saying as each word morphs into the next in on never ending drool of gibberish.

No wonder Hatton didn't do what he told him to ... he couldn't understand fuck all.

Best part...."I ain't gonna slag him off and say 'hey you really looked like an ass like there, you didn't keep your hands up like I told you to!' I ain't gonna do that!". Um, you just did you daft, classless prick and what's more you just did so in front the worlds media to boot.

Freddie, classy as always, rises above Floyd the best he can, trying to be genuinely conciliatory. I love Freddie.:kidcool:
