Well, no one can coast to an easy decision versus Griffin. This should be fun. Anderson should be favored, but Forest will make him work for it.

Not a bad card judging from the top 2 bouts and especially true if they pit Silva against a top guy.

And I'll say it now, Florian hands BJ his ass.

Damn, homey! Thats pretty bold!:partie: I don't think I can back you on it, but I would love to see it. I just see BJ being too much in all aspects right now for Kenny. Hope you are right though! Fighters change so quickly in MMA, that beating he took from GSP may have changed BJ. We'll have to see.

I agree, this fight should be good, I do see it ending brutally for Griffin though.

I want to see Rua fight Thiago Silva, loser goes back to Brazil:hammert: But seriously, I think it could be good.:dunno:

Forrest is a giant LHW, he's rangy and has decent stiking. He will make it interesting while it lasts but ultimately I see Silva stopping him. Forrest may even have to cry again.

I think this is the ype of fight that makes Silva look real good and he'll be praised again after this one.

And that is EXACTLY why I think Kenny handles him. They are on opposite ends of the confidence spectrum right now.

Tough welcome back fight for Silva at LHW. But IMO, White should've pitted him against the top guy.

Just for everyone else's information, he is talking about Lyoto Machida.

Forrest is the best guy that is available. The title is tied up for a while with Rashad vs Machida and then the winner having to face Rampage.

I wouldn't be so sure. Machida is good, but I won't count Evans out that easily.

Same here. To be honest even AS I was watching I was thinking, shit BJ is not going to be the same after this.

Whether it be physical, mental, or whatever, it just felt like one of those career altering beatings.

Silva has been so mind numbingly boring in his last 2 fights I'll actually be rooting for Griffin.

Good matchup, Silva should have too much for Griffin but has Tsplec said, I doubt he'll be able to coast and play it safe vs Forrest. Should be an exciting fight.

Of course Griffin is tough but i see a complete schooling here, since his style will make Silva look great and exciting at that, IMO.

Admittedly I don't follow MMA extremely closely but I give Griffin a very good chance in this one. He looks a little better every time I see him and he'll absolutely dwarf Silva.:hammert:

Would it be a tune up if Silva fought Rampage? I guess to you anything other than a shot at the title is a tun up? Even if you think Rampage won the Forrest fight, you can't deny that they fought pretty even and they are on the same level.

As Others have Stated, Forrests PACE All but Guarantee's that this will B an Exciting Fight...He'll MAKE Anderson Silva WORK...But that'll B to Forrest's DETRIMENT & he'll Get Stopped on Strikes LATE in the 1st or EARLY N the 2nd Round...

REED Can See Forrest Being SAVED by the Bell, but Taken Out Early N the 2nd, ala Rich Franklin...

I was thinking of it playing out very much the same way. To those of you that think Silva is so much smaller than Forrest, you will be suprised. Silva is a 205'er, he just knows how to maintain his weight and cut what he needs to efficiently. The guy is probably bigger than many 205'ers.

Yep.I don't recall Silva ever being the smaller man in a MMA fight. He always has a height ,reach advantage in his fight. But this fight we will see how he handles that.

I don't think Florian hands him his ass, as BJ is just too good at that weight. But, Florian is the only guy at that weight who can beat BJ I think. I wouldn't be surprised if Florian wins though, although I lean slightly towards Penn right now.

Anderson is an elite fighter while Griffin is an overachiever. Wouldn't shock me if Silva decided to cut the bullsh*t and just wasted Griffin within 60 seconds. I just can't put Griffin in Silva's class even if he is a bit taller and naturally bigger. Griffin just comes across as a big goof with pretty good skills and TONS of tenacity and very good stamina. Skills though will prevail. Anderson has it in spades.
